Enjoy open farmland views and countryside walks straight from the door. Situated in a historic location on the site of the Battle of Blore Heath (1459). The space Red Rose Barn is a luxurious barn conversion (opened in August 2024). We are very proud of our Superhost status and we do all we can to ensure you have a wonderful stay with us. We live close by, so we will try to help with any question or issue. - A peaceful countryside location with stunning views across farmland. - A tasteful, modern design, complete with underfloor heating. - 2 double bedrooms - each with ensuite bathroom. including freshly laundered towels and quality toiletries. - One bedroom offers a king size bed, whilst the other bedroom is a double bed (both ensuite). - Cosy lounge, complete with media wall. - 55" Smart TV with wired internet. Basic apps such as BBC iPlayer, ITVX, Channels 4 and 5 etc. are already logged in. For other apps such as Netflix, Apple TV etc. you will need your own log in. - Air-conditioning in lounge / kitchen / diner. - Electric flame-effect fire in lounge. - A kitchen diner, with nespresso coffee maker (pods supplied). Also dishwasher, fridge-freezer, oven, hob, kettle, toaster. There is no washing machine. - Fast wifi and wired internet. - Private parking with EV charger (type 2 connector with the Monta app). Guests pay via Monta app priced at 22p kWh. - Accessibility: The property is on one level and there are no internal steps. There is easy access from the car park to the front door via a short paved path. Private parking: Guests have access to a private gated parking area (shared only with adjacent property). - Private Outdoor Space: Enjoy exclusive use of a private patio with lovely countryside views and the use of a spacious garden. - Farm Experience: Located on a smallholding farm, guests can see various animals including sheep, goats, a horse, and cattle. There are even Llamas on site. - Convenient Location: Despite its rural setting, the historic market town of Market Drayton is just a 5-minute drive away, offering shops, restaurants, pubs and local attractions. - Perfect base: The barn is the perfect base for exploring the Midlands, North West and North / Mid Wales. - Eco-Friendly Amenities: Air Source Heat Pump providing comfortable underfloor heating, Air conditioning and EV Charger (additional charge). - Historic Location: Situated on the site of the Battle of Blore Heath (1459), the first major battle of the Wars of the Roses. - Scenic Walking Routes: The Newcastle Way walking route is just 200m from the property, leading to stunning views across Shropshire, Staffordshire, Cheshire, and Wales. Walks to nearby pubs are possible. There is a complimentary welcome pack including a free bottle of wine, milk and treats. Also Dishwashing/detergent packs, toilet roll, kitchen roll, etc.. which will last a couple of days. If you want to do some shopping there are plenty of local shops and supermarkets within a 5 minute drive. There is plenty to see and do in the surrounding areas. Please see our Guidebook. There is a comprehensive information folder in the Barn with instructions for equipment and details of local walks, supermarkets etc. There is space for you to store your bike for those wanting to try out the many cycling routes in the area. Guest access Guests will have full exclusive access to the Barn, including: - Full exclusive use of the property. - Large dedicated gated private parking area with type 2 EV charger (accessible via Monta app). - Please note that guests pay for their own EV charging, this is not included. - Exclusive access to the private terrace and large garden space. Other things to note Red Rose Barn is situated on-site at Blore Heath Farm. The farm is a working small-holding farm, with the farm buildings adapted for residential use. Red Rose Barn was converted for furnished holiday let in August 2024. It is a private exclusive space for visitors. White Rose Barn is next door to Red Rose Barn, however both properties have their own private patio and garden space which is not shared. The large parking area is shared with guests at the adjacent property (White Rose Barn). However there is plenty of parking space and both properties have their own dedicated EV charger. During your stay, you may see cattle, sheep, goats, a pony and even Llamas in the fields next to the property, however this is seasonal and the animals may not be out during winter.
