Chic two bedroom apartment in Antigua

Tucked into the north side of Antigua in the vibrant and colorful El Manchen neighborhood, this contemporary and cozy apartment is in an ideal location to stroll and explore this colonial cobblestoned town. Full of natural light and lush plants, this compact well-appointed two bedroom and one bath apartment boasts a warm open layout with an elegant and modern kitchen. A roof top terrace allows you to take in the impressive views of Antigua and surrounding volcanos as you plan your adventures. The space The fully equipped two bedroom apartment has recently undergone a full renovation to make this property a comfortable and functional place to stay. The simple but elegant apartment has a modern kitchen with a built in induction stove top and convection oven. The two bedrooms each have plush queen beds and high quality bedding with duvets. Each room of the apartment has excellent natural light including the shower which boasts a beautiful skylight. The Manchen neighborhood provides easy walking access to Antigua although it should be noted that to access the apartment by walking you will need to walk up small incline or climb three small flights of stairs. If you have difficulty with stairs or walking up inclines, you can take a tuk tuk or Uber close to the apartment so that you skip the stairs or incline. The neighborhood is safe with many kids and families outside at almost all hours of the day. As with all areas of Antigua, if you are walking alone late at night, it’s recommended you take an Uber, tuk tuk or taxi. Guest access The apartment building has three other apartments however you will have your own separate entrance from the street and you can come and go as you please. A smart lock on the front door will have a unique 4 digit code for you which will also work for the smart lock on the door to the rooftop terrace. Other things to note If you have a vehicle, there is no designated parking for the apartment. There are a few community public parking areas a short walk (less than minute) from the apartment however we cannot guarantee the security of your vehicle as it is on street public parking. The Manchen neighborhood of Antigua is a small residential neighborhood and is NOT a gated community. Daytime noises could include children playing and even a neighbor’s rooster.
