This private seaside estate has been in the Parkhurst Family since 1951. The Cottage has been a labour of love and is a remarkable post and beam structure built by Swiss craftsmen – there is not a nail in this amazing structure. You will enjoy the majestic and uncompromising craftsmanship of this unique building while you take in the beauty of the ocean and gardens. Privacy and solitude will provide a calming environment in which to relax and unwind. Guest access The Cottage at Flowers by the Sea is a 2-level deluxe couples cottage. Enter the cottage at the lower level where there is lots of storage, and a beautiful hand-crafted stairway leading to the main living area on the upper level. The main living area upstairs has a kitchen with an island, living and dining area, bedroom, washroom, laundry, and adjacent fitness area. For people who love to cook, the kitchen is fully equipped and features an island for guests to gather, as well as a separate dining area for up to 6 with a garden view. Other things to note The bustling marine community of French Creek is situated on Highway 19A, which runs along the east coast of Vancouver Island beside the open water of the Strait of Georgia. Inaugurated in 1999, the Top Bridge Trail connects Rathtrevor Beach Provincial Park on the Strait of Georgia with the Top Bridge Crossing, a magnificent pedestrian-cyclist suspension bridge spanning the Englishman River at a lively junction of parks and conservation area.
