The space ▶Room Details This renovated traditional Japanese "kominka" (old folk house), originally a tailor shop (men's clothing), is over 100 years old. It features a spacious open-plan layout that comfortably accommodates up to 9 guests. The kitchen, toilet, and shower room were all newly renovated in 2024, offering clean and modern facilities. In winter, guests can enjoy the ambiance of a wood-burning stove. ▶ Important Notes ・As it is an old building, some areas, especially certain rooms, have lower ceilings and lintels compared to modern houses. There are several areas inside the building where the ceilings are low. (The ceiling height is approximately 210 cm; if you’re 170 cm tall, you can touch the ceiling by stretching your hand.) While you can enjoy the atmosphere of a traditional Japanese house over 100 years old, please be careful not to bump your head. There are some imperfections, such as minor stains, worn-out fixtures, and heating and cooling systems that may not work as efficiently as modern ones. We have installed heating, cooling, and a wood-burning stove to ensure our guests’ comfort, but please understand that this property differs from modern, well-insulated homes with high airtightness. As our facility is located in a quiet residential neighborhood, we kindly ask that you refrain from hosting large gatherings such as dinner parties or events, as well as any noisy activities that continue late into the night. If you are planning to use the property for such purposes, you will not be able to stay here, so please book another facility. ▶ Location Our inn is located in a peaceful provincial town, away from the hustle and bustle of tourist areas. Situated in a quiet residential neighborhood, you can enjoy a peaceful and relaxing stay. Traffic on the road in front of the parking lot can get heavy at certain times of the day, but there is a popular local mid-sized supermarket within walking distance, allowing you to experience the daily life of the town’s residents. ▶ House Manual Upon check-in, please review the house manual provided. ▶ Self-Check-In ・Please check in between 3:00 PM and 9:00 PM. ・The surrounding area is a very quiet residential neighborhood. To avoid disturbing our neighbors, please check in by 9:00 PM. ・There is no on-site manager at this facility. The key code is issued after you complete the guest registration form sent upon reservation confirmation. Please complete the form by the day before check-in. ▶ Smoking Policy Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the property, including e-cigarettes. Please refrain from smoking in the entranceway and parking lot as well. ▶ Information for Guests Staying Multiple Nights ・Towels and sheets are not replaced; please wash them in the washing machine and reuse them. ・Please note that we do not provide cleaning services during your stay. ・We can arrange for trash pickup upon request; please let us know if you need this service. ▶ Insects Due to the abundance of greenery in the surrounding area, insects may be present. Please be aware if you are sensitive to them. While we have taken measures to repel insects, they may still enter when the entrance or windows are opened. If you absolutely cannot tolerate insects or even seeing them, we kindly ask that you refrain from staying here. ▶ Security Cameras In accordance with guidance from the public health center, we have installed a security camera at the entrance. ▶ Communication The host strives to provide a comfortable and worry-free stay through frequent communication with guests. Please be sure to check your messages. ▶Pet Policy ・Pets must be house-trained, free of fleas and ticks, and up-to-date on vaccinations to stay with us. (Please confirm.) ・Only fully house-trained dogs are permitted to stay. ・The pet accommodation fee is 4,000 yen per day (tax included) per pet. Please let us know your dog’s breed. ・ Please wipe your pet’s paws at the entrance before bringing them inside. ・ Please bring all necessary items for your pet, such as food, a bed, a crate, and toilet supplies. ・ To prevent shedding, please have your pet wear a pet coat or a hygiene belt indoors. ・Pets are not allowed on the sofa or in the bedroom. If we observe any inappropriate behavior, we will charge a cleaning fee. ・If we find any damage, such as chew marks or scratches, caused by your dog during your stay, you will be responsible for the actual repair costs. ・There are no fences surrounding the property. Please keep your pet on a leash in the yard to prevent them from entering neighboring properties or getting lost. ・Please do not leave your pet alone at the accommodation. ※Please note that if you have not reported that you will be bringing a pet in your guest details, or if the reported information (such as the number of pets) differs from the actual situation, we will cancel your reservation at your discretion. ※You will not be able to stay if any of the following apply. If the room is excessively soiled due to inappropriate use, an additional cleaning fee may be charged. 2. If any loss or damage to property is discovered, you may be charged for the cost. 3. Only guests who submit a guest registration form in accordance with Japanese law may stay at the property. Guests who fail to submit the form will be asked to cancel their reservation at their own discretion. We ask for your cooperation in complying with the law. 4. If the number of guests exceeds the number declared, we will charge an additional fee of 10,000 yen per person. (We will verify the number of guests using the security camera at the entrance.) 5. Fireworks are strictly prohibited on the premises. 6. Smoking is strictly prohibited, including inside the rooms, at the entrance, and in the parking lot. 7. If we dispose of suitcases or large trash items on your behalf, you will be charged the actual disposal costs. 8. Please refrain from holding parties or engaging in noisy activities. In the unlikely event of noise disturbances or complaints from neighbors, we may be forced to contact the police. Please also understand that in such cases, we may be required to provide the reservation holder’s identification information. 9. We do not accept cancellations after a reservation has been rescheduled. [About the Surrounding Area] During your stay, you may be affected by external factors such as construction noise, daily living sounds from nearby residents, or temporary odors.
