Description

An 1887 home turned back into a guest house and adding updates each year. Nestled in the woods, Yellow Tree B&B is a 15-min. walk from the Miller Ferry. We offer a light, not hot, breakfast fare each morning in our breakfast café for you to help yourself. We are 2 miles from the downtown scene. Put-In-Bay’s small-town charm is loaded with shops, restaurants, & musical entertainment. We host couples, girl/guy weekends, & families. Visit all of the Yellow Tree B&B listings to view add'l rooms. The space Nettie's Room is upstairs through the downstairs living room, kitchen, and breakfast cafe. It is a spacious bedroom with a queen sized bed. It comes equipped with a mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. A rollaway bed for 1 can be added for an additional nightly cost. The bathroom is adjacent to the room. You can see the exposed brick from the chimney in one area. The windows view the side yard and the front view of the street and through the trees to the lake. The property is surrounded on three sides by the Jane Coates Wildflower Trail with a view of Lake Erie in the Spring and Fall seasons, through the trees and across the street. When the sun sets your room glows of yellow and orange, but you should really sit out on the front stoop to watch it, or run over to the South Bass Island State Park-what a spectacular view! Visit our other Yellow Tree B&B listings! Guest access Guests are welcome to the Breakfast Café, the back deck, the backyard, and access to Jane Coates Wildflower Trail. Need to use the washer & dryer? Just shoot us a text. During your stay Through a mother and daughter vision, Marisa bought this lovely 1887 home in 2017. Together, with the help of their significant others, they have been slowly renovating, making changes and creating a space to share with others for years to come. Linda can be found walking over with her chocolate lab, Porter, to garden or simply to say "hello". Marisa lives on the property with her partner, Corey, but can often be found working closer to town at one of the local's favorite restaurants, The Goat. Stop by and visit her or visit Corey at Hooligans Irish Pub. Other things to note All guests may enter through the back door. You're treated like a neighbor here and the shared space is everyone's. Some guests will rise earlier than others, while some guests will retire later than others. It's island time! We have guests staying in the back barn apartment so you will see other people and vehicles, besides those staying in the house.
