The space Surf cottage is just steps away from Victoria Beach and its iconic Pirate Tower and close to The Montage Resort, Treasure Island, great restaurants and shopping. Pack your bags to discover the perfect getaway and enjoy all that Laguna has to offer with its beautiful beaches, art galleries and restaurants. Hop on the free trolley that stops right outside your door to downtown Laguna or south to The Ritz Carlton and Salt Creek beach. In summer enjoy the famous Pageant of the Masters and Sawdust festival and year round First Thursday Art Walk. Treat yourself to a spa day at the world class Montage Resort. This is a charming, newly renovated, newly furnished, beach cottage with living room, fireplace, queen sofa bed, dining, kitchen and bedroom with queen bed and bathroom. French doors lead out to the private ocean view deck with seating from which to enjoy cocktails as you watch the sunset over Catalina. There is a private courtyard with gas grill and all the lounge seating you'll need to dine alfresco or relax and soak in the sun or stars. After a fun day at the beach, sip cocktails on the deck as you soak in the breathtaking multicolored sunsets over the ocean. Then head out to the Drake restaurant or local favorite, Dizz’s As Is. Whether you want to be adventurous and try kayaking, stand up paddle, skim boarding on Vic where it was originally invented, surfing, boogie boarding or just sit back and catch some rays, we can't wait to welcome you to Surf cottage at Laguna Beach, your "vacation" home away from home! Our cottage is ideal for beach lovers who want to stay just steps from Victoria Beach—one of Laguna’s most stunning stretches of sand. Within walking distance, you’ll also find the world-class spa and dining at the Montage, as well as Treasure Island and Aliso Beaches. A free trolley service right outside the cottage makes it easy to explore more of Laguna’s beaches, restaurants, and shops. Please note, the cottage is located just one street from Pacific Coast Highway, so the area is lively with traffic. Living Room Panoramic windows showcase the gorgeous views of the Pacific Ocean and Catalina Island. Gather around the fireplace to relax at the end of your day and watch a movie on the big screen TV. The pull out sofa provides a queen size bed for additional guests or children. Enjoy breakfast in the breakfast nook with views of the ocean. A private exterior deck with ocean, Catalina and sunset views allows for relaxing and entertaining. Enjoy al fresco dining with a gas bbq, dining area and ample lounging area in the private courtyard. Bedroom The bedroom has a queen size bed, closet, en suite bathroom and French doors with ocean view. Bathroom Newly remodeled bathroom includes vanity, storage cabinet, rain shower with optional handheld shower. Kitchen The newly remodeled Kitchen includes quartz countertops, refrigerator, microwave, oven, stove, coffee maker (Kuerig pods) and toaster. An exterior door leads to a small deck with ocean views to enjoy your morning coffee. Kitchen is stocked with basic dining, cooking and serving essentials including plates, bowls, silverware, wine and drinking glasses, cooking utensils and kitchen accessories such as can opener, wine opener, measuring spoons and more. Supplies Bath and beach towels are provided based on occupancy. Bathroom is stocked with body wash, shampoo and conditioner. The kitchen is stocked with an initial supply of salt and pepper, coffee pods, trash bags, paper towels, kitchen sponge, hand soap, dish soap, dishwasher pods, toilet paper and laundry pods. Parking There is a garage for a compact car and a shared off street parking space for a larger vehicle. Street parking is available for additional vehicles. There is a laundry room with washer, dryer, ironing board and iron. Initial supply of laundry pods are provided. Cleaning supplies, beach chairs and umbrella are available in the laundry room. Heat/AC Central Heat No AC. Other The cottage is close to PCH and noise of the traffic can be heard. TV and high speed WiFi are provided. Please read house rules. Location Surf cottage is located just off PCH right across from Victoria Beach and the famous Drake restaurant. The cottage is a standalone home. Sand cottage next door is also standalone and, if available, may be rented to allow for larger families and groups or multi family. Each have separate entrances and outdoor areas but can be connected if rented together. To maintain privacy, guests in the adjacent Sand cottage have a separate access and patio and do not have access to Surf cottage and its decks. Unfortunately, Airbnb has automatically listed our cottage as being on Arch Beach, which is incorrect. There is no such beach. The cottage is actually located next to Pacific Coast Highway and within walking distance to Victoria Beach. Airbnb controls certain sections of the location text that I cannot edit. I’ve spent many hours with their support team and escalated this issue over the past six months. Despite repeated promises that their technical team would correct it, it still hasn’t been resolved. Our cottage is ideal for beach lovers who want to stay just steps from Victoria Beach—one of Laguna’s most stunning stretches of sand. The cottage is accessible using a keyless entry system with a unique code per guest. The code changes for every reservation making it a safe system. The check-in process is quicker and easier as guests are issued the code prior to arrival so that you can start your vacation as soon as possible! Frequently asked questions What time is check-in and Check-out? Check in is after 4PM local time, and check out is 11AM. Early check in and late check out may be available for your reservation. There is no extra fee for early check in, or, late check out (If we can accommodate your request, we most certainly will). How do I access the cottage? The cottage has a keyless entry, so you will be issued a code rather than a physical key. The code changes for every reservation so it is a safe alternative. By issuing the code prior to arrival, the check-in process is much easier. How frequently is cleaning provided? Cleaning is performed at the end of your stay. A mid-week or mid-stay clean can be provided for an additional fee. Are pets allowed?
