The cabin is equally suitable for families with children who want access to alpine, cross-country skiing, activities, as for couples or friends who want to enjoy quiet days, long mountain trips or just relax in front of the fireplace. The space The cabin is located right by the slalå slope, overlooking Haglebunatten, and with a large plot around. There is parking for 4-5 cars. There is a cozy fireplace on the terrace that is used all year round. There is also a fire pit on the lawn outside the cabin. How about a trip to the sauna after an active day? Haglebu Feriesenter has a grocery store with basic goods and can stock up on everything from breakfast and evening meals to dinner ingredients. The Sherpa staircase up to Haglebunatten is within walking distance, and the area offers fantastic nature experiences. It is possible to hire a canoe, buy a fishing license, ride horses in the summer. There is a well-maintained hiking trail around Haglebuvannet with several lean-tos and fire pits. Haglebu mountain church is located by the water. Posters are set up explaining historical events. There is a toboggan run right nearby, about 200 m from the cabin. Please note that this is a cabin where there is no mandatory cleaning. We have created a checklist for cleaning and washing, which we ask you to follow before departure. All cleaning equipment is available and is described in the checklist. If you would like to book cleaning, we can help with it at an additional cost of NOK 1500. Other things to note It is possible to hire bed linen and towel, NOK 250,- per set. This is arranged upon booking. Bed linen is laid out, the guest will also clean up themselves, and after stay, bed linen is placed in the dirty laundry basket in the bathroom. You wash out yourself, see separate folder in the cabin. It is possible to order cleaning for NOK 1500. Electric car charging NOK 200 Everyone empties refrigerators after themselves, and take trash, which can be disposed of at nearby garbage stations. Send a photo of the empty fridge and trash can to host before you leave the cabin. At Haglebu there are many possibilities for various activities, in summer and winter. Haglebu holiday center has offers to rent a horse, you can rent a rowboat, canoe and buy a fishing license. There are many hiking possibilities, both in flat and unclean terrain. For those who like pole hunting, there are 70 poles set out in the terrain. Some are easily accessible while others are more demanding. During the winter season, there are miles of great prepared trails suitable for everyone. The slalom slope is family friendly and has ski rental, and a heating room with food service. There are two eateries: Fjellstua and Turistheimen. At Haglebu Feriesenter there is a small shop with basics, and what you usually need. There are basic items available in the cabin, and you replace what you use up. Within a 1 hour drive you will find: Langedrag Naturpark, Bjørneparken i Flå, Tropicana Badeland i Gol. The Madonna Statue and Nastaborgen in Eggedal are about 30 min drive away.
