Just a small rustic garage house/art studio in a big garden. Made for the down to earth Baja traveler. A few hundred meters off MEX1 down a sandy road on the edge of a rustic village. Everything is only minutes away - fresh warm tortillas, downtown action, unpublished beaches. 7 minutes to the airport. El Centenario is the up and coming La Paz suburb - however, the roads are still rough and dusty (muddy, should it rain). This is not for you, if you prefer refined neighborhoods. NO parties! The space Casita La Capilla is a well hidden peaceful place in a subtropical garden. Enjoy the seclusion and safety of its high walls. Iguanas love to sunbathe on top. An open air kitchen, outdoor dining, a crystal clear pool, a gazebo with hammock, a splashy fountain and a roof top are waiting for you. The entire property is open for you to explore. You'll see cardinals, humming birds, owls, doves and woodpeckers in the garden. Visiting roadrunners make the dogs go on wild chases. Casita La Capilla is home to 7 sweet and kind dogs. A lot. But the property is the size of one city block - so most likely you won't see much of them. If you don't like doggies running around, Casita La Capilla is not for you. Do not bring your own - it won't work out. Shouldn't need to mention it, but Casita La Capilla is super clean with sun dried bed lines and towels. Crisp air conditioning for the warm summer days and a heater for the fresher winter nights. 7 minutes to the airport. 15 minutes to downtown. 300 Mbps internet Need something I don't have? As mentioned somewhere else, I have (kind, sweet) dogs - so, if you are uncomfortable around dogs, this property is not for you. The property is not suitable for parties, fiestas or family reunions. Other things to note During the winter, of course, the pool is heated. Additional extra warm comforters will guarantee cozy nights. Winter also means that the sandy road leading to Casita La Capilla might get muddy on (super rare) rainy days. The outdoor kitchen is in the spirit of the house - it is very basic. No refined stove, no micro wave, no toaster.
