Spare room in south Philadelphia

Hello! Rather than letting my spare bedroom sit empty, I’ve thought it would be more useful as an AirBnB. More details are below, and please reach out with any questions or requests. It goes without saying that people from all ethic backgrounds, countries of origins, gender identities etc., are welcome; I’m very happy for everyone to come enjoy our great city. The space The Room Guests will stay in a mid-size room on the 2nd floor of the house with a privacy lock and a window view onto a small street. The room has a queen size bed, a full closet, and a small desk in case you want to get any work done during your stay. Guests will also have a private hallway bathroom (including shower) with towels, soap, and shampoo, and toothpaste provided. The House + Amenities The house is a 3 story ~1400 square foot house which was built in 2014. You’ll share the space with me (Shane; owner) and a friendly cat (Europa). Guests will have pretty much full access to anything in the house including: • A fully stocked kitchen with plates, pots, pans etc. Feel free to use spices & oils within reason • A roof deck with table and chairs • TV with subscriptions to Netflix and Major League Soccer (go Philadelphia Union!) • Wifi (of course) • Stationary Bike • Adjustable dumbbells • Washer and dryer The Neighborhood The house is located in the south end of the city, just southeast of the intersection of Washington Avenue and Broad Street. In a very short walk you can reach a lot of great destinations. • The Ellsworth-Federal subway station on the Broad Street Line (3 minute walk) • The sports complex & Center City via the Broad Street Line (15 minutes via subway) • Various Supermarkets (5-10 minutes walk) • Passuyunk Avenue with many options for shopping, bars, coffee shops etc. (10 minutes walk) • Italian/Mexican Market (5-10 minutes walk) Guest access You can use pretty much the whole house apart from the master bed room and bathroom. Just be reasonable about usage and noise (e.g., clean pots and pans after you use them). During your stay If you need to get in touch, just shoot me a message through the AirBnb app Other things to note General Rules & Other Things • Please no pets. Europa the cat will not approve • Smoking is fine, but just keep it outside • No parties Parking - You might be able to find free street parking, but it isn't guaranteed. Let me know if you have a car and I'll see if I can scope out a spot. - Otherwise there is a garage that is ~25 dollars per day that is only a few blocks away. Registration Details 945444
