Description

Experience the real cabin life! The cabin in Frøyland is located in the middle of Frøylandsbekken which provides an incredibly pleasant sound of running water that surrounds the entire cabin. The cabin is truly authentic with traditional rose painting on the kitchen, doors and interior. Inside, the cabin is clad with round panels, which is to highlight the cabin coziness. The cabin has recently undergone major upgrades in terms of electrical, pipes, bathrooms, etc. The space The property consists of a main cabin and an annex. The cabin has a storage room, hallway, living room with a great open fireplace and with a door to the hallway with two bedrooms with bunk beds and a new bathroom. The annex is upgraded and equipped with a fantastic double bed. There are series-connected smoke detectors between the cabin and the annex. The outdoor area is equipped with a seating area and a fire pit for long cozy evenings outside. There is no WiFi in the cabin, but good 4G and 5G coverage. Dirdal is a beautiful place at the innermost part of Høgsfjorden and is the perfect starting point for memorable hikes in the area. In addition, Dirdal is located in the middle of the famous trips to Preikestolen and Kjerag. It is about 50 km drive to Stavanger and only a few km to the beautiful Byrkjedal and Byrkjedalstunet. Guest access As a guest, you have the entire cabin and annex at your disposal. The outdoor area has no neighboring cabins, which provides privacy. Other things to note Parking is outside the Road Museum along road 540. From here it is about 100 meters to walk up to the cabin. Below the cabin you have to cross Frøylandsbekken on a bridge (about 2 meters) that lacks railings and can be a bit slippery when it rains. (The bridge will be upgraded by summer) The cabin is located on an agricultural property and there may therefore be grazing animals outside the cabin of both sheep and cows. The animals will not be able to pose any danger if you show consideration. The cabin has a new combustion toilet and will require you to read instructions for use. The rent includes bed linen and towels.
