A stone's throw from the charming village of Bétête, close to a 12th century abbey, this large house full of history is the perfect place to relax in the unspoiled nature of the Creuse countryside. It has a magnificent view of the wooded park. The charm works in all seasons: - at Christmas with the family, by the fire, - in summer, by the pool, or inside, in the cool, thanks to the stone walls... You will experience unforgettable moments in this exceptional setting! The space The house has on the ground floor a large living/dining room with fireplace (a wooden trunk is provided), lounge area with smart TV and many board games, books, so that everyone can find something to relax! A fully equipped kitchen with dining area overlooks the wooden terrace and barbecue. Toilets and a laundry area complete this ground floor and add a very practical plus! Upstairs, 4 large bedrooms that can comfortably accommodate 8 adults and 3 children, with 1 extra bed allowing up to 12 people to be accommodated. The first bedroom has a double bed and an extra bed, in the second bedroom: a bunk bed, and two twin beds (which can be assembled into a 160 cm bed). In the third bedroom there is a double bed and an extra bed (more for a child) and in the last one a double bed. All the rooms have retained the charm of this historic home with their old parquet floors and beautiful ceiling height! Two bathrooms complete this floor, each with shower and toilet. Outside, an above-ground swimming pool (from 06/15 to 08/31), a swing set, a large wooden terrace facing south (with parasol and light garland) and a barbecue, all in a natural setting! Guest access The property is completely independent, some rooms are private and not accessible (indicated by signs). The owner lives next door, so parking is shared, so you'll need to make sure to leave the access clear. Other things to note Linens and towels are provided. Cleaning is the responsibility of the Conciergerie. The fees for these services will be added directly at the time of booking.
