Snow View Cottages - Cedar Cottage

This is a chalet like cottage, located 100 meters from road, at the edge of a reserve forest facing the snow mountains, with a view of both from all living spaces. The cottage is built in traditional stone, mud and wood with modern interiors. The place opens in to a beautiful wooded landscape, where one can enjoy solitude and the company of birds, sun and moon. Enjoy the monsoon rains through large windows or winter sun in the garden. The space This cottage is built in traditional style stone and mud mortar, with very modern and warm interiors in mud plaster on the walls and wooden ceilings and floors. This cottage has an open plan, with dining area, flowing in to living space and wooden stairs climbing in to a large loft, ideal for children and young people to sleep or hand out. Beautiful wooden stairs descend in to the bedroom, with bay window. There are two washrooms, one attached to the bedroom and one to the loft. Guest access The cottage booking is for four people. In case there is an additional person, please contact host. All the guests have access to the living room, garden, patio and above all, beautiful walks in to the forest as they step outside of the garden. Kitchen is accessible to the guests for cooking themselves, though the guest should leave the kitchen clean after use. The property is vegetarian, so please do not get non vegetarian food from outside as well. Eggs are okay though. You can also contact the host for access to home made food delivery service if they do not want to cook themselves. Please let us know in advance if you need kitchen cooking and cleaning services for an extra payment. We would levy an additional cleaning charge if INR 1000 if guests leave dishes and kitchen dirty after use. Other things to note Though winters are very beautiful and usually sunny, excepting the rainy and snowy days, evening can become quite cold. Our caretaker is happy to make you a fire for extra payment in the winter months only. There should be no smoking in the cottages and on the porch. We levy additional cleaning charges of INR 3000 if guest are found smoking in these spaces. Guest can smoke in the outer garden area without littering.
