Located in the heart of Amish country not far from the buzz of Lancaster, but tucked away in a very secluded area. This is a perfect place for a quiet weekend or family getaway! Enjoy the fishing and swimming hole a mile off site, the fireplace on the patio with the Hot Tub, or gazing across the open field.   Located directly beside a cornfield keep an eye out for turkeys and deer (Especially when the corn is short) Surrounded by property of non hunters, this is a place where wildlife thrives. Originally built in 1844 as a one room school house, the home was renovated in 2020 while still including many of the original features such as big stone walls, Stone dining room floor, and much more, now resembles a unique farm style home.    Enjoy the newly finished back patio, completely covered by an amish built pergola. Sit under the string lights and soak in the hot tub while watching the sun set across the field! The Space: - Living Room: Sofa Sitting Area (Wood Fire Place Is Non Functional) - Dining Room - Kitchen: fully stocked with the basics needed for cooking and baking - Coffee and wine table: Both coffee and wine provided - 1/2 Downstairs Bathroom - Master Bedroom: King Bed - Master Bath: With stand alone tub and walk in shower - Bedroom 2: Queen Bed - Bedroom 3: Sleeper Sofa - Backyard space: pretty string lights, pergola, grill, outdoor dining table, campfire area, and of course, the hot tub This is a perfect little getaway! Below are some of our favorite areas/things to do: • Sight and Sound Theaters - 15 mins • Strasburg Rail Road - 15 Minutes • Downtown Lancaster - 20 Minutes • Wolfs Hollow Nature Park - 5 Minutes • Tanger Outlets - 15 Minutes • Intercourse (Amish Village) - 15Minutes A Few Additional Notes: 1. There is a NO pet policy. Any violation of this will result in removal of the property and a fine of $500 or up to $1,000 if any damage occurs. 2. No Smoking: If there are any signs of smoking the renter agrees to pay $200 per day You will have access to the entire house and back yard. There is also plenty of parking in the driveway. There is a Tiny Home on the back corner of the property that is also used as an Airbnb. There is a separate driveway leading to this and you will not have interactions with any guests. Please respect their privacy and do not enter the woods past the back yard pine trees. I am about 15 minutes from the property. Please contact me with questions or concerns you may have.
