Hewey Lake Hideaway Campground and Cabins!

Hewey Lake Hideaway is a 4 acre lakeside campground with 4 RV sites, 2 cabins, bunkhouse, vintage camper, and plenty of extra room for tents. Your group of up to 24 (or more!) will be renting the entire property and dogs are welcome! Base rental includes newly renovated cabins, large pavilion, sand volleyball court, and access to our lakefront area including a dock for your watercraft, a sandy beach, and great fishing! Come make lasting memories with family and friends at Hewey Lake Hideaway! The space Hewey Lake Hideaway has 2 small cabins, Porcupine Mountain and sleeping Bear, that each have 2 bedrooms, a half bath, a living space and a nicely equipped kitchenette. Each cabin sleeps up to 6 people with a double bed in each bedroom and a futon or a convertible sleeper in the living area. Our adorable bunkhouse, Mackinac, has 4 XL twin beds, kitchenette area and a great covered porch. The bunkhouse has no plumbing but the bathhouse is nearby! The vintage camper, Forest, is a clean, open space that has a full bed, twin bed, and small kitchenette area. This camper does not have plumbing but it is also very close to the bathhouse. If your group needs more cabins, inquire about our add on lakeside cabin, Leland, and our studio cabin, Belle Isle. The campground area has 4 large RV spaces with access to water and electric and several areas to pitch a tent or park a small camper. A huge pavilion, small playground, outdoor games, group campfire area, and a sand volleyball court all add to the fun. The lakeside area is reachable by stairs or a sloped boat launch. Our recreation building, Boblo Bait Shop, is available for your group to use anytime. It has seating and games and is a nice group hangout spot. We have a small beach area to enjoy the water, a dock space for your personal watercraft and we offer the use of kayaks, a rowboat and paddleboat, including life jackets. Guest access Guests will have private use of a 2 acre campground area, 2 cabins, bunkhouse, camper (Lakeside cabin and studio cabin if reserved separately), bathhouse, lakeside rec-room, and access to the lakeside area. The host may be on site at the private owner cabins overlooking the bluff. If so, we will happily be available to attend to any needs you might have! Other things to note The main cabin and campground listing price is for a maximum of 24 guests. Up to six additional guests can be added for $15 per person per day. Our add on lakeside cabin, Leland, can accommodate up to 4 guests and the lakeside studio, Belle Isle, accommodates 2 guests. If renting the entire property, Hewey Lake Hideaway can accommodate a maximum of 36 overnight guests. Small 1 day events may be held on the property if requested. Any additional guests over the maximums allowed, not staying on the premises will require a daily fee of $15 per person with a total limit of 50 guests on the premises. Additional tables and chairs can be provided at no extra charge if requested.
