Centrally Located. This fun and colorful lower apartment for your stay near downtown Rockford. 1000 sq feet. This is my second BnB in this vintage 4 unit apartment building I have owned since 1987. New queen beds in both bedrooms with a shared bathroom between them. Absolutely no parties. I live directly above. You may hear some muffled sounds as there was no great soundproofing in 1928 Washer and dryer in basement for guests staying a week or more or by request. Registered guests only. The space 2 queen bedrooms, large closets, 1 bathroom with original clawfoot tub. Everything has been newly painted and hardwood floors refinished. The unit is bright and happy! Please note that this is nearly a 100 year old brick building. You may hear some squeaks and groans from the hardwood floors and muffled sound from the adjoining units. If you love the vintage aesthetic you are our people! We furnish with quality furniture and kitchen items. Wool rugs, Crate & Barrel sofa, Dansk china, original artwork, …to give you a fabulous place to enjoy. All blankets, comforters, pillow shams are laundered between guests. We commercial vapor clan all floors, rugs, and upholstered furniture between guests to ensure it’s sanitized and squeaky clean for you. Please absolute no smoking or vaping inside or outside on the property . $1000 cleaning fee for violations as I am extremely allergic and live above the unit. Centrally located near Swedish American hospital, close to my favorite Anderson Japanese gardens and downtown Sports Factory. Easy to get to us, just one turn off East State street. Plenty of street parking. Traveling medical professionals are always welcome. Due to insurance and city regulations , only registered guests are allowed at the property. Guest access Guests have private entrances with electronic locks on both doors. Other things to note No smoking/vaping anywhere inside or outside on the property. I have a small spaniel and a medium mutt that live on the property. They are very friendly and are only outside when I am home. $1000 cleaning fee for smoking and a poor review to follow. Due to insurance snd City of Rockford regulations, only registered guests allowed on-site.
