Your home away from home was built in 2023 and has been designed and furnished with attention to detail. The luxury vinyl plank floors as well as the granite counters in the kitchen and vanities in the bathroom are both luxurious and practical. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances, such as a fridge, freezer, dishwasher, oven, microwave, and range hood. You will find all the essentials like a Breville espresso machine, toaster, kettle, glassware, dinnerware, cutlery, utensils, pots and pans, and much more. You will also find basic supplies like coffee, tea, sugar, salt, pepper, balsamic vinegar, and olive oil. The chef in your group will be delighted! Relax in style on our large, modern, comfy couch, which conveniently pulls out into a bed with a premium memory foam mattress for extra comfort. Recommended for 2 kids or one adult due to its size. The 55-inch smart TV is mounted on a swivel arm, allowing you to adjust your viewing angle, and is paired with a high-quality soundbar for immersive sound and has complimentary Netflix. Need to stretch or stay active? You'll find a yoga mat, a foam roller, and a pair of dumbbells to help you unwind, exercise, or work out during your stay. The bedroom is fully equipped with linens, pillows, and duvets, all carefully washed in natural, hypoallergenic detergent to ensure your comfort. Relax in comfortable patio furniture, fire up the 4-burner BBQ for outdoor dining, or soak in the hot tub with 2 powerfull pumps while taking in the stunning scenery. This deck is the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the beauty of the surroundings, day or night. Our mechanical room features a washer and dryer, making laundry convenient during your stay. Need to dry your shoes or gloves after a day of hiking? There’s a complimentary boot dryer available for your use. High-speed Starlink Internet keeps you connected. Driving time to town: 6 min Driving time to Kicking Horse Mountain Resort: 20 min Driving time to Banff: 1h 40 min. Driving time to Radium Hot Springs: 55 min. Smoking and vaping are not permitted inside the home or on the property. If you are visiting in winter, we strongly recommend renting a 4x4 or AWD vehicle with proper winter tires, as our driveway is steep. If you don't have an all wheel drive vehicle or don't feel comfortable driving down, you can park on top of our driveway and walk down (25m). Winter tires are mandatory in BC from October 1 to April 30. A train and highway run through the valley below. An additional house is situated on the property. No fires including candles are allowed on our property due to our insurance. Smoking and vaping are not permitted inside the home or on the property. Guest access Guests will receive a custom lock box code on check-in day in the Airbnb App and may arrive at their leisure after check-in time. An all-wheel drive vehicle and winter tires are highly recommended for access during winter months. Winter tires are mandatory Oct 30 - April 30 in BC. Other things to note We are located in rural British Columbia, surrounded by majestic mountains and ever-changing weather. Please keep in mind that services here may differ from what you’re used to in larger cities. Important to note: During the winter, our contractor clears snow from the driveway, but after heavy snowfall, there may be some delays. Please note that our driveway is steep. If you don’t have an all-wheel-drive vehicle or are not comfortable driving down, you can park at the top of the access road and walk down. Be sure not to block the access road, as it must remain accessible for our neighbors. Our home is nestled in nature, so it's possible to encounter wildlife. Please avoid leaving food or garbage outside to minimize attracting animals. While sightings are rare, it’s best to remain aware of your surroundings. In summer, mosquitoes can be a nuisance. We recommend keeping unscreened doors and windows closed. Consider bringing insect repellent or a device like a Thermacell, which can also be purchased locally. Our water is sourced from a well, filtered, treated with UV light, and completely safe to drink. Please note, in the event of a power outage, the well pump will not operate. For waste management, we use a septic system. Only flush toilet paper and human waste—please avoid disposing of anything else. Similarly, only wastewater should go down the sinks. Internet is provided by Starlink. Smoking or vaping is not allowed inside our cabin or on our property. An additional house is situated on the property.
