This cosy garden flat boasts a large garden, lots of Victorian period details, and an ideal location. You are surrounded by leafy residential streets and the charming 'village' vibe of Herne Hill, while also minutes from excellent transit connections to central London, regional train hubs, and airports. The space This upper-ground level 1-BR is nicely laid out with a separate kitchen, living room, and bedroom with a queen-size bed. From the kitchen in the back you have direct access to a private patio and large shared garden. As of April 2026 there is a new kitchen with all new appliances. The bedroom is located at the front, with a large south-facing bay window. There is some traffic noise, though a large hedge offers privacy and some sound buffer. (A white noise machine also helps!) The flat is part of a converted Victorian home, and has lots of charming period features like hardwood floors, tall ceilings and windows, and two hearths. This is a private home, not a regular rental property, and as such it is decorated with a personal touch and fully equipped with lots of little conveniences. It also has plenty of quirks and imperfections, so if you prefer an immaculate modern hotel room this is not the place for you. Guest access The whole flat is yours. The other 4 units in the building share the garden, although you will often have it to yourself. Other things to note I have a small dog, and you will see his crate and some of his things in the kitchen. He never goes in the bedroom and the flat is thoroughly cleaned prior to each stay, so allergy sufferers should have no problems.
