Welcome to The Point! - Brand New Lakefront Home - Private Swimming Pool - Your Own Boat Slip - Breathtaking Fire Pit - Outdoor Kitchen w/ Blackstone - Wraparound Porch - 350+ ft of Lake Frontage The Point is a 2,700 square foot home situated on the southeast shores of Buckeye Lake, Thornville, Ohio, and is just 3.4 miles from I-70, and Legend Valley Music Venue. The space The Point boasts 5 bedrooms, sleeping 12 persons (8 adults and 4 kids) and includes 4 full baths, a 14x26 foot inground pool and a wrap-around deep porch with an outdoor kitchen and 36” Blackstone griddle. A fire pit, firewood, cornhole and outdoor Yahtzee games are also provided. Parking is available for up to 6 vehicles on the property. The Point is located in a residential neighborhood and we ask that you be respectful to our neighbors during quiet hours as well as while traveling the road coming and going from the residence. For multigenerational families who like to travel together, we included a Pack N’ Play, high chair, bibs, children’s eating utensils, games, puzzles and books for all ages, and our pool features an automatic cover to add an extra layer of safety when not in use. Please note: Our pool is open depending on weather. Our goal is to have the pool open from the end of May to mid/end of September. Guest access The entire house at The Point will be yours, along with the private pool and fire ring space. The pool is a seasonal pool and likely will be closed up in late September through mid to late May. As hosts, our boat is stored on the property. With prior notice to guests, one person from our family may come onto the property to access our boat. Other things to note Location is everything. The Point, located on the southeast shores of Buckeye Lake in Thornville, Perry County, is directly across the lake from popular nightlife spots such as Papa Boo’s, The Waterfront and The Dirty Oar. Buckeye Lake Winery and Horvath’s Harbor, both fine dining experiences, are both on the southeast side of the lake and are just a short drive or boat ride away. Buckeye Lake Boat Rental is located just 0.6 miles away from The Point. Many visitors to the area rent a pontoon or kayaks to enjoy a day on beautiful Buckeye Lake. We highly respect our quiet neighborhood and hope you do too, by adhering to all of the rules.
