This is an actual home owned by people who live on Capitol Hill so two rooms will be locked and not accessible during your stay (an office and a big closet). Otherwise, every room is available for your stay. That's 3 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms available for you. There are two full beautiful new kitchens. The house, like many Capitol Hill rowhouses, has a one bedroom apartment (with full kitchen, washer dryer, etc) on the lower floor. This is connected to the rest of the house through a stair case but it also great for families that want to stay together and one group could have slightly more privacy on the lower level. Families: Two families staying together could easily enjoy this home. This home comes with two high chairs, one pack n play, many sippy cups, baby/toddler plastic cups, plates, dishes, etc. Accessibility: There are two steps down to enter the lower level of the home from the front entrance. This whole unit is a one bedroom apartment complete with full kitchen, bathroom and washer/dryer. If one or two people in your group had issues climbing stairs but they could manage walking down and up two steps to get into this unit, they could stay on this unit easily. OTHERWISE, note there are many stairs in this house up and down (like most Capitol Hill houses) the stairs are narrow. Stairs: Again, as noted above, this house is a four level house. There are many stairs. The stairs are a bit narrower than most staircases in the United States. This home was originally constructed in 1900. The lower level of the house only has one step to access the unit but otherwise it is necessary to climb stairs to reach the rest of the house. Parking: There is ONE off street parking spot behind the house. Other things to note Please Note: - This is someone's actual home! Please treat it with love and respect - The parking spot behind the house is for ONE car. It is unlikely to fit a giant truck, RV, Expedition, etc. If you have a larger vehicle you need to bring, contact the host about finding a place to park (they know places!) - The one parking spot is accessed through a narrow alley that requires a few tight turns to get into. This is pretty typical for city parking but just FYI. - This house has many stairs. Some may consider the stairs narrow. If you do not like stairs, this is not a good house for you. That said, if only one or two in your group do not like stairs, the lower level of the house can be accessed by walking down/up only one step. - The people who live in this house will leave one office and a large closet closed and locked off during the stay. Do not try to enter those rooms. There are no photos of the rooms in the airbnb listing and the rooms will be locked. - This is someone's actual home. You will see signs of life in the home. This is not some 100% vacation listing. You will see things from the people that live here in the home. - Please do not smoke in the home. - Please do not bring any animals (dogs, pets, birds, cats, etc) into the home.
