"Orotjae" is a pure Korean word meaning a completely tranquil space, or a space where you can focus on yourself and take a complete rest. The beautiful natural scenery, with views of Hallasan Mountain to the south and the sea to the north, makes it an excellent choice for those seeking a quiet and private retreat in nature, away from the city. (The parking space on the left side of the yard with the electric vehicle charger is not available for parking.) Other things to note Rules & Regulations - Our place is located in a very peaceful and quiet residential neighborhood. To ensure a pleasant stay for everyone, please be considerate of the neighbors and keep noise levels down. - Please take your shoes off before entering the property. - Please note that there are no grocery stores or convenience stores within walking distance. We suggest you bring any necessary supplies with you. (Café Recre is about a 10-minute walk from property.) - Orotjae is a smoke-free house. Smoking, candles, and fireworks are prohibited. - Pets are not allowed. - Please avoid cooking smelly food (e.g. grilling meat or fish). After cooking food, please open the windows to ventilate. - If you use any dishes during your stay, we would be grateful if you clean them. - Please separate trash for recycling. We have a garbage bin, a recycling bin and a food wastes bin. - Please put food waste in the designated food waste container. - You will be charged separately for any indelible stains and/or graffiti on bedding, furniture, wallpaper, or flooring, as well as for any damage to facilities or fixtures caused by customer negligence. - If you break or damage something, please let us know and arrange for its replacement or repair. - Although we conduct regular pest control, insects may enter the premises due to the natural environment with many trees and bushes. If you are sensitive to insects, please consider this before making a reservation. - Hot season: Please turn off the AC when you go out. Optimal indoor temperature is between 23-25C. And make sure to close the windows when you are using them. - Cold season: Please turn off the Ondol (Underfloor heating system) when you check out. Optimal indoor temperature is between 20-23C. And make sure to close the windows when you are using them. - Only registered guests are allowed to stay.
