Fifteen minutes from Carbondale and nearby local beaches and shorelines of Cedar Lake. The space The cabin is set on a southwest slope facing into deciduous forest, with a meandering meadow and local 1-mile woods trail system to enjoy. Inside the cabin, 3 main bedrooms and two full baths occupy the upstairs. On the main floor are the primary kitchen, dining and living areas. Additional beds can be found in the main floor sunroom, and at the ground/basement floor level, with access to laundry area and a basic covered outdoor barbeque patio. The main floor has vintage wide plank pine flooring, stacked cedar walls, a wood burning fireplace, south facing sunroom, and covered north entry porch. An outdoor firepit anchors the start of the trail system. The red garage barn at upper yard has shelter for two vehicles inside, and several available gravel driveway parking spaces. Guest access All areas of the house and garage and wooded ten acre property with trail system may be accessed by guests. Other things to note We can arrange for you to be met in person at time of check in by advance notice. This house would be very suitable for a group retreat, family & friends having a reunion, sharing a holiday or attending local events.
