Lace up your hiking boots and enjoy all The Shawnee National Forest has to offer with many hiking spots within driving distance. For boating and fishing, Lake of Egypt is only a twenty-minute drive. The space Our charming cottage sits on ten semi-wooded country acres and is 280 square feet. With trees outside each of the fourteen windows, you’ll feel like you’re living in the wide open! The cottage is split into two rooms (a main room and a bathroom). The main room includes a full kitchen and a living/bedroom area complete with Roku TV, Starlink internet, and a cellular signal booster. There is one full size bed, one twin bed, and an extra twin trundle bed. These beds double as seating during the day. The large bathroom hosts an inviting soaking tub under a huge garden window with views of the property. There is a stacked washer/dryer and plenty of storage for your luggage and personal items. Enjoy some morning coffee on the front porch while you take in the view of the sun hitting the hills and crop fields.
