Other things to note We operate under the Ryokan Business Act, so passport and personal information are required. If not provided, we cannot accept your stay. No smoking inside or on the street. Street smoking and walking while smoking are illegal in Japan. Smoking is allowed only on the balcony. Please take off your shoes inside the room. This is a residential area — please avoid parties or loud noise. After 9:00 p.m., keep quiet when entering or leaving the building. You don’t need to stay silent inside the room, just avoid noise in shared or outdoor areas. If neighbors complain, a ¥100,000 fee will be charged. No cleaning service during your stay. Extra cleaning can be arranged for an additional fee. Heavy stains or vomiting will incur a ¥50,000 cleaning fee. Staying with more people than reserved is not allowed.
