The campsite is ideal for those who enjoy peace, nature and the outdoors. It’s a wonderful area for cycling and walking. By bike, you can reach Hoorn’s historic centre in 15 minutes, with its charming harbour, shops and terraces. Hoorn City Beach is also well worth a visit, with a lovely beach pavilion for drinks, lunch or dinner. The rental price includes bed linen, towels and tourist tax. The space The chalet is comfortably furnished and equipped with convection heaters in every room, making it a pleasant place to stay all year round. The TV is equipped with Chromecast and provides access to Netflix, YouTube and NLZIET, with Dutch and some international TV channels. The compact kitchen is fully equipped with a 2-burner induction hob, combination oven/microwave, Dolce Gusto coffee machine, filter coffee maker, French press, blender, toaster and a 60-litre refrigerator with freezer compartment. There is no baby cot in the chalet. If required, one can be rented separately from the campsite reception. Guest access During your stay, you have access to all the facilities at Camping 't Venhop. At the reception, you will find a small camping shop for your daily groceries. You can rent bicycles and canoes at the campsite to explore the beautiful surroundings. Freshly baked rolls are available every morning. You can order these at the reception a day in advance. You are most welcome at restaurant De Overkant, located on the campsite, for lunch, dinner, or a drink. There are several playgrounds on the campsite. Please note that the campsite has limited facilities for children. The waters surrounding the campsite are ideal for fishing enthusiasts. Fishing is permitted without a fishing license. Other things to note Hot Water Boiler The chalet is equipped with a 50-litre hot water boiler, providing enough hot water for two to three short showers in a row. Car Free parking is available at the reception car park and at the parking area next to the chalet. Location Camping 't Venhop is ideally located for exploring North Holland. Amsterdam – approximately 20 minutes by car Hoorn City Beach – approximately 2 minutes by car (walking is quite a long distance) Volendam, Edam and Marken – approximately 15 minutes by car Alkmaar – approximately 20 minutes by car For Children The campsite has a few playgrounds for children. Please note that there are limited facilities for children. Bicycles Bicycles can be rented directly at the campsite. By bicycle, you can reach the historic centre of Hoorn or Hoorn City Beach in approximately 15 minutes. For your daily groceries, Shopping Centre De Grote Beer is only about 5 minutes away by bicycle.
