Brice's Place on the Farm

Relax with your family and dogs on the Farm in the Forest! Brice's Place is a completely modernized, 100+ year-old Farm House on a 22-acre, small working farm. Nestled within the Cherokee National Forest, Brice's Place is in the Limestone Cove Valley of Unicoi County, between Stone Mountain & Unaka Mountain. With hiking and biking trails next to the property & some of the best fly-fishing rivers in Tennessee, Brice's Place is just 20-minutes to Johnson City, 35 to Bristol & 55 to Asheville. The space Brice's Place is a modern and comfortable, 100+ year old Farm House with two bedrooms, one bath, and full kitchen. The original part of the house was built from Hemlock harvested and milled on-site and rests on a native field stone foundation. Much of the old Hemlock has been incorporated into the renovation for you to enjoy. Guest access The Farm you'll be staying on is 22-acres of mixed pasture, timber, and cultivated areas. It is crisscrossed with trails that you're welcome to enjoy. The Cherokee National Forest and Limestone Cove Recreation Area border the property and has long and beautiful trails throughout it. If you get tired of walking, you can feed the chickens! Other things to note There is no cell service in the area. You will be able to use your cell phone via high-speed fiber Wi-Fi in Brice's Place. The main road is Tennessee Highway 107. It is a two-lane road with a 55mph speed limit that connects Tennessee and North Carolina. It could be easy to miss the turn into Trailhead on Rocky Branch Road. I will provide detailed instructions with landmarks and distances before your scheduled arrival dates. Highway 107 is designated as Tennessee Bike Route. It is also a frequently traveled motorcycle route between Tennessee and North Carolina and the main route to reach The Beauty Spot. The Trailhead you use to reach the property is a favorite of horse riders. There's a very good chance you'll see several trailers parked there during your stay. Brice's Place is a short drive to East Tennessee State University, Milligan University, Tusculum University, and King University. Our Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) business is conducted off the Farm and you'll never see strangers on the property. Let us know if you've forgotten anything and we should be able to help!
