Roast s'mores around the fire, relax in the hot tub or take a short walk (3 min) to Lake Michigan. Located near the well known Lighthouse and Silver Lake State Park, enjoy cherry picking, riding the dunes and snowmobiles, cross-country skiing, or unwinding on the beach. Experience the beauty of West Michigan from this serene retreat. The space The property has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Bedroom #1 - Master Bedroom: King bed and bathroom with walk-in closet. Bedroom #1: Queen bed Bedroom #2: Queen Bed Bedroom #3: Bunk Bed with a double bed on bottom and single bed on the top. We also have a single mattress that can easily be added to this room or another. We have a fun Ms Pac-man arcade game and a Nintendo Switch. Large family room with wood burning fire place and quality TV. We provide one duraflame log that will provide a fire for around 3 hours or more during your stay. If you want additional fires, there are lots of places to buy wood. Board games are available in the stand below the TV and closet bunk bed room. Dinning Room as a table that seats 8 comfortably as well as porch table and chairs. In-Unit laundry is available and is in the closet close to the main door. All bedrooms and the main room have electric baseboard heating and their own heating/air conditioner. This will allow for you to stay warm in the winter months and cool in the summer while choosing the temperature you'd like for your sleeping room. I've tried to create an amazing outdoor haven for your trip! Here is what is available with more being added all the time. - Fire-pit: There is a quality fire-pit and chairs to enjoy roasting s'mores and time together. - Beach chairs and toys available. - Water toys: kayaks, paddle boards are free to use at your own risk. We own a path just across the street to access the river that goes between Silver Lake and Lake Michigan. Feel free to use that as a launching point or take to either lake with you. - Jacuzzi: relax in the 6 seat Jacuzzi throughout your stay. We'd ask that you put the top back on when it is not being used and try to keep the sand out as much as possible. - Yard games: we also have yard games like bags, bocce ball, kubb and a basketball hoop available for fun. - Gas Grill - there is a grill available on the porch that you can use throughout your stay. - Lake Michigan is just a short 3-4 minute walk away. Feel free to use the beach access just down the street or walk/drive/ride a little further (3-4 additional minute walk) to the beach at the lighthouse. - Dune Hiking Near Home: If you walk the opposite direction of Lake Michigan a couple minutes there is a place to cross the river and access the dunes. You can explore the grassy haven dunes with paths that will take you a number of different directions. Main dune access and buggy rental is on the other side of Silver Lake. Overall I want to provide an amazing experience for you and would love to host you! Guest access The entire house will be yours during the stay. You can access the home through the side door entrance. It has a keypad lock that will allow you to go in and out without having to lock the house or worry about a key. If you have trouble, I can unlock the door remotely and I also have an emergency key stored on property. I will share all passcode info a couple days before your arrival. It should work well for you! The glass door at the front of the house opens as well. You can lock and unlock that inside by pressing the lock in and turning to the left or right. The door is a little bit sticky, but moves best if you push from the bottom of the handle. Feel free to park in the circle parking lot. We would ask that you do not park on the road as there is traffic going both ways. There should be plenty of room for 4-5 cars depending on their size. There is a hill at the back of the property that go up to the woods. The top of the hill is the end of our property line so we'd ask that you stay in our yard area.
