Welcome to Branderij Het Halve Ambt, a spacious and comfortable self catering appartment, nextdoor a coffeeroastery Located in the rural, culturally rich far north of the Netherlands. Come see roedeer feeding on our small estate, frequented by birds of many kinds. Sit back and relax. Or take a walk, bike or canoe around numerous charming villages, visit Lauwersmeer or take the dayferry to Schiermonnikoog. If in need of urban things, the bustling city of Groningen is only half an hour away. The space The appartment is built inside an old barn and is completely self catering , with modern, fully equiped kitchen and bathroom. A comfortable and large (180x200) bed stands apart from the living area, with table chairs, a comfy bench and lazy chair. Views of the fields around through large window. An audio system is present, fed by Google Nest. A smart tv, fed by chromecast. Wifi. Bicycles. Sauna in the main building, upon request, against small surcharge. River for swimming. Roastery for coffee, with outside seating. Round the other side of the building you ll find ample spots to sit, relax and admire the abundant birdlife Listing is a startup, please remind us of what might be missing. Guest access Entrance is through large green barn doors. Parking is on the north side of the barn, on a dedicated parking Other things to note Accommodation is located in an area with low (industrial/urban) noise and low light, with peace quiet and a unspoilt nightsky as a result. Wednesdays the roastery is functional, other days upon request. Freshly roasted specialty coffee available at all times.
