National monument De Heidepleats 'it skiep' & wellness

Completely private with a view over the meadows. Also there is an outdoor shower to cool down. Lighting can be adjusted to your own taste. Price of hot tub or sauna: €50 per 4 hours. Time slot is in consultation. Hot tub and sauna: €90 per 4 hours. We will heat the sauna and/or hot tub for you. Price includes wood and cooking oil. You can turn on the bubbles in the hot tub. Please contact us if you would like to use the wellness area. This national monument from 1860 is wonderful and so beautifully simple. It is in the middle of the Noardlike Fryske Wâlden, the beautiful scenic landscape. We have been living on this farm with our three young children since 2021. In the back of the ‘pleats’ we have built two cottages with our own hands: ‘de ko’ and ‘it skiep’. Upon entering, you will see the Grupstal on one side and the cottages are built on one side. "It skiep" is a romantic space of 60m2, has all the comforts and offers privacy. Own entrance. A welcome with coffee/tea and something typically Frisian. Fully equipped kitchen with inventory, oven, hob, dishwasher, fridge and kitchen textiles. Private sanitary facilities with toilet, bathtub, rain shower, hairdryer, towels, shower gel and shampoo. A lovely electrically adjustable bed with luxurious mattresses. Sitting with sofa. Table with two chairs. Terrace and various seating areas overlooking the meadows. iPad (instead of TV) with Internet and streaming capabilities. Lime-free water. A/C. Indirect daylight via stable windows. Beautifully adjustable lighting in the cottage itself, very romantic. Use of the washing machine for an extra fee. Breakfast in consultation, €15.00 per person per morning. Two new electric Batavus ladies bikes. €30 per day per bike. You can enjoy walking and cycling in the area. The beach (Bergumermeer) with catering facilities is 3 km away from the cottage.
