The screened-in porch offers a tranquil spot to enjoy your morning coffee, while the firepit provides a perfect setting for evening gatherings. We even provide a guitar! Strum a tune next to the fire while making memories with your loved one under the stars. The winding driveway, adorned with string lights, adds to the enchanting atmosphere of this mountain haven. Whether you're looking to relax in the hot tub, read a book on the screened-in porch, or explore the nearby attractions, Smoky Ridge is your ideal destination for a memorable getaway. Guest access Guests will have access to entire cabin and all the amenities we have to offer. Other things to note ✅We will accommodate an early check in and out if we are able to. Unapproved late check outs are $50 for each 30 min past scheduled check out time. -All Guest must be 21+ 🚭This is a no smoking property. If you smoke inside, there will be an additional fee of $500 minimum to remove the smoke smell. 🧻We provide an initial supply of toilet paper and paper towels, but you might need to purchase more if you have a longer stay. 🐻There are bears that live in Tennessee. A mama bear and 3 cubs have been passing through lately. If you see one, do not approach it and do not feed them. They are fun to watch and usually run when they hear a noise, but please do not feed them. Bears that get accustomed to humans end up being put down. 🚮We have a bear proof bin. Please place your trash in the cans, inside the bin. 🚿The house utilizes well water, which is quite hard, but a water softening system is in place. While the water is safe for consumption, guests are welcome to bring bottled spring water if they prefer. Additionally, the presence of iron in the water may cause staining, leading to a yellow tint in areas where water is frequently used, such as showers, sinks, and toilets and the hot tub. 🍷If you are pregnant or have been drinking, we recommend you do not use the hot tub. 🧼Many people have sensitive skin, which is why we recommend bringing your personal soaps, shampoos, and toiletries. However, we do offer complimentary body wash, shampoo, lotion, and conditioner. 🧑‍🍳Our kitchen is stocked with the essential cookware, but we do not provide condiments, zip locks, etc. You can pick up your favorite condiments at the local country store, or the nearby Kroger or Publix. 🐜At our home, you can enjoy nature at its finest. We are on a comprehensive pest control program with regular treatments by a local professional, but our location means that you may have experiences with critters of the 4, 6 or 8 legged variety. To help ensure they stay outside, please keep the doors closed at all times. ⛰️The cabin is on a paved mountain road. A few roads have an incline, but nothing a 2-wheel drive car could not handle. Even though our driveway is flat, in the winter we recommend 4-wheel drive. We highly recommend purchasing trip insurance. The optional damage waiver is $39 for stays up to 10 nights, with an additional $2 per day for stays longer than 10 nights. Damage waiver purchases are optional. It is not an app, and you do not have to sign up for an account - it’s a safe and secure website. It also gives you a guest portal with all the info about the home and all of my favorite local spots. Your guest portal includes advertisements with third-party upgrades that you may want to enhance your stay.
