Description

Apartment located in the heart of the tourist area, on the picturesque Linares Street or Witches' Market, surrounded by craft shops, tourist agencies, money exchange houses, pedestrian areas, restaurants, grills, pizzerias, cafes and bars. 3 blocks from the cable car station of the Post Office Building, in the city center, and 2 blocks from the Rodriguez market (main market). Netflix is available in both the living room and bedrooms. The space The apartment can accommodate 1 to 4 people. If there are 2 people, you can choose between the room with a double bed or the room with twin beds. The apartment is located on the third floor. The building does not have an elevator. The building's 40 cm or 1.3 ft thick walls retain heat. In any case, there are electric heaters in the apartments. Other things to note The Art Deco building, built in 1950, is a city heritage site. It was recently refurbished by the Municipal Government of La Paz and modernized by the owner. Linares Street or Las Brujas Street is located in the city's Historic Center. The street is predominantly pedestrian. As Jaime Saenz mentions about this: "... all the magic shops meet there... These shops, dominated by the chifleras, are gloomy, small and cold, the oldest in La Paz - with a mysterious smell, with a breath of unreality, with bodies that are lost in the dark. There is no room for anything here, because the whole field is occupied, and you can't step on the threshold, because the threshold is also occupied." On Linares Street, businesses open every day offering handicrafts, camelid wool fabrics, native musical instruments, antiques, jewelry, and travel souvenirs, intended predominantly for tourists arriving in the city.
