Our goal was to create a comfortable, stylish space within the confines of an existing structure. The home sits on a property surrounded by old growth native pecan trees. Original CMU blockwork is still intact and is visible throughout the space. Hexagonal floor tile is featured throughout as well as cedar accent walls and an Ipe ceiling in the bathroom. The space incorporates elements of the outdoors with downtown neighborhood living featuring art by David Choe and Mike Giant. You’re a short, half-mile walk from Lady Bird Lake Hike and Bike Trail, Whole Foods, East 6th and Rainey entertainment districts, not to mention all the other gems on Holly and Cesar Chavez Streets. The bathroom highlights a rainfall shower, sprayer and Bedrosian tile work throughout. A wall mounted Robern LED edge lit mirror is the centerpiece of the vanity and provides great lighting. A navy concrete Nood basin sink is front and center and features a Lefroy Brooks faucet. Hue recessed LED lights can be adjusted to your preference. Beautiful vintage Turkish rugs are featured throughout the space. A 55” TCL Smart TV complete with Sonos Arc Ultra soundbar and mini sub are available for entertainment. Also, a Music Hall turntable and Klipsch bookshelf monitor speakers, and vinyl records are provided. A locking pocket door leads to the bedroom furnished with a King size Tempurpedic mattress on a beautiful white oak bed and full length blackout curtains with additional light filtering curtains. Mineral wool insulation was utilized to create a quiet, cozy, and comfortable sleeping quarter. This is a brand new listing!
