The space Skyfarm Retreat is a newly built, modern, off-grid A-frame cabin which offers all conveniences needed for a comforting and relaxing experience. The home has a galley hallway, the entry leading into the bathroom, then bedroom, kitchen, and finally the open plan dining and lounge. The floor to ceiling windows allow all day sunlight in the home. You are kept warm by the wood heater, and the double glazed windows keep you comfortable all year round. The ceiling fans in the lounge and bedroom allow you to cool off during the warmer months. Outside is a fresh new deck with a picnic table for outdoor dining, a firepit area with 2 relaxing Adirondack chairs, a barbeque and the highly sought after outdoor bath - all overlooking the stunning Huon Valley hills and river. NOTE: This property is not designed to support charging of electric vehicles or plug in electric heaters. Please contact your host for advice on public EV charging stations through the area. Guest access The entire cabin is for your exclusive use to enjoy. The surrounding bush land is yours to share with local wildlife. Complete privacy is assured. The cabin sits on hundreds of Acres, and although you are welcome to walk within a close distance of the home, we ask that you do not go wandering the property as it is a working farm, and can have some unforeseen risks at times. Other things to note As the property is off grid, it is unable to recharge an electric vehicle. If you are traveling with an EV, there are public charging stations operated by local council in most townships in the Huon Valley. Please contact us for a list if needed. The cabin is heated by a woodfire. Plenty of firewood is supplied for your comfort. There is a heater in the ceiling in the bathroom also.
