Day trips to Cannon Beach and Seaside are only 30 minutes away. *As parents, we want kids to be safe at our home. We DO NOT suggest kids under 10 stay here as the river access is treacherous and rugged. The space Take it easy at this tranquil getaway on the Nehalem River and near the Oregon Coast. Tucked into the forest, our newly renovated home is the perfect artist retreat. Our two bedroom home has amenities to keep you comfortable during your stay including a fully stocked kitchen, retro styled bathtub and shower, wood stove, entertainment room, and television. If you are looking for a place to truly unplug, this is your paradise. Instead of scrolling on your phone, you're invited to hike the miles of forests just out the front door. You can perch at the dining table that overlooks the Little North Fork of the Nehalem River and write, draw, or craft. In the evening, relax in our oversized couch and chill with Netflix, Apple TV+, and a curated collection of DVDs. Other things to note Our water comes from a well and has a high mineral content. When it's first turned on, our tap water can smell like sulfur and while it's perfectly safe to ingest, it's not idea. We have drinking water for our guests in the kitchen.
