A bus stop on the road goes to Chippenham or Swindon train stations. Near the ancient towns of Malmesbury, Castle Combe, Lacock and Marlborough, Avebury Stone Circle. The space The Cart Shed adjacent to our former Grade II listed farmhouse is in a quiet area in Lyneham just walking distance to the village of Lyneham or you can travel by bus to Chippenham or Swindon train stations on the direct bus route 55. The bus stop is just outside the property on the village green. The property is completely self contained. It has an open plan living area with separate bedroom and bathroom. It is full of character with vaulted and beamed ceilings. As well as heating in each room there is a log burning effect fireplace in the lounge area to enjoy cosy evenings in. We can host 2 adults and we also allow a baby or child (travel cot/J foldup bed and highchair are available) plus one well behaved pet. It is a convenient place to explore Wiltshire, the Cotswolds and beyond. The private cobbled garden is a secure child/dog friendly area. Please note that there is a step up into the bathroom and kitchen area although the property is a single-storey building. There is a low doorway into the bedroom; please mind your head! We have secure parking outside the property and can take two cars at no extra cost. Guest access The self contained property has a secure patio/garden off the driveway which is safe for your pet and child. The parking is outside the door of entry but please leave enough room for us to occasionally get our car out of the garage in the driveway. Other things to note We have a lockable shed if you wish to bring and store your bicycles. Please let us know before your stay if you would like to use this.
