The space Our Airbnb apartment is a newly refurbished space located on the first floor of the back half of our house, separated from the rest of the house by a double height hallway with glass roof. The apartment spans just over 500 sq ft and offers private access via a large, ornate cast iron spiral staircase leading to a balcony and the entrance door, on sunny days, it's glorious to sit with the door open and feel the breeze coming off the paddock. In 2006, we began a major renovation of our mid-century house located in a small rural village. and won "May The Best House Win" artist's episode. The apartment includes: Sitting Room: A spacious and comfortable area with a mini kitchen and dining table overlooking the paddock. The room features large, light double-aspect sash windows. Bedroom: A large and very peaceful space, equipped with high-quality cotton bedding, feather duvet and pillows, lined curtains, blackout blinds, and a remote-control Velux blackout blind to ensure a restful night's sleep. Guests have frequently commented on how quiet the space is and how well they have slept. Bathroom: Contains a large shower and a well-lit mirror, blackout blinds Amenities - TV's in the sitting room and bedroom Large cast iron radiators Dyson Hot and Cool fan Mini Kitchen - Please note there is no hob. Other things to note Our property is nestled in a peaceful rural village within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, offering direct access to the Ridgeway National Trail, scenic cycle routes, and walking paths. The village of West Hendred sits along a chalk stream, and just a 15-minute walk on picturesque footpaths leads you to the historic medieval village of East Hendred.
