THE SPACE Living Room: Our cozy living area features comfortable seating, and a flat-screen TV, perfect for movie nights after a day of hiking or exploring. The TV is set up for you to access any of your subscription services; and we also have a DVD player and a collection of movies to enjoy - including the classic Bigfoot tale “Harry and the Hendersons”. In cooler months, a large wood-burning fireplace becomes the perfect centerpiece for relaxation and warmth. Whether you’re curling up with a good book, sipping hot cocoa, or gathering with loved ones for a cozy evening by the fire, it creates a peaceful, inviting atmosphere that’s ideal for unwinding after a crisp day outdoors. Feel free to bring your roasting sticks and s’more supplies! (**Please note: we do not provide firewood, but firewood can be purchased in town at the IGA or ACE Hardware.) Kitchen: The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to prepare home-cooked meals, including an electric stovetop and oven, cookware, and plenty of counter space. We have a cabinet stocked with spices and cooking oil. Enjoy your meals at the dining table or take it outside to the deck, where you’ll find peaceful views of the surrounding woods. The kitchen includes a dishwasher, making clean-up after meals quick and convenient so you can spend more time enjoying your stay. Bedroom 1: The master bedroom features a comfortable king-sized bed and an ensuite bathroom with a luxurious jetted bathtub—perfect for soaking and relaxing after your adventures. Bedroom 2: The second bedroom is a playful kid’s room with bunk beds, a teepee, and a collection of children’s books to entertain the little ones. It’s the ideal space for young adventurers! (**Please note: no adults allowed in top bunk.) Additional sleeping can be arranged for use of the queen sized sofa bed, and an additional pull out bed in the loveseat. Please let us know that you intend to use these options, so that we can ensure that the extra linens are prepared for your arrival. Entertainment and Resources: Our cabin offers a variety of board games, cards, and fun Bigfoot-themed novelties to keep you entertained during your stay. Whether you’re enjoying a family game night or browsing through quirky Sasquatch memorabilia, there’s plenty to spark laughter and fun for guests of all ages. We provide a selection of maps and guides for the Great Smoky Mountains, helping you navigate the park and discover the best hiking trails, scenic viewpoints, and local attractions during your stay. Laundry: For your convenience, the cabin includes a small stacked washer and dryer, perfect for handling laundry during extended stays or after a day of outdoor adventures. Amenities: We provide a selection of complimentary coffee supplies including ground coffee, a drip coffee maker, filters, sugar, and creamer, so you can enjoy a fresh cup each morning. In the bathrooms, you’ll find essential toiletries such as shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, and plenty of fresh towels, ensuring a comfortable and hassle-free stay. Other provisions: A well-stocked spice cabinet with cooking oil. Paper towels, extra trash bags, dishsoap and a sponge, and laundry detergent. Free parking is available for up to two vehicles. PARKING: Please note that parking can be a little tricky due to the steepness of the driveway. Here is our recommended parking procedure: 1. Drive up past the cabin to the top of the hill and turn around in the little culdesac. 2. Come back down and go into the first driveway entrance coming from this direction. (It is the Left side one if you are facing the cabin.)
