Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. The space This charming cottage is thoughtfully decorated for both comfort and functionality. Bedrooms: 1st ✔ bedroom: Double bed (150x200 cm) ✔ Bedroom 2: Double bed (150x200 cm) downstairs and single bed (75x200 cm) upstairs ✔ Bedroom 3: Single bed (90x200 cm) downstairs and single bed (75x200 cm) upstairs The living room is the perfect place for relaxing after an active day, either in front of the fireplace, with a movie on the TV or from the daybed, where you can kick back and take in the spectacular views. The kitchen has what you need to prepare meals during your stay. OUTDOOR From the cabin there are spectacular panoramic views that stretch far beyond the mountains. Ski slopes in the immediate vicinity make it easy to get out on a hike, whether you want to go for a short run or go on a longer ski trip in the mountains. Alpine center nearby (possibility of ski in). In summer and autumn, the area offers great hiking opportunities and bike trails right outside the door. ☆ ACTIVITIES IN THE AREA ☆ Aurdalsåsen, beautifully located in Valdres, is a perfect destination for those who want to enjoy fresh mountain air, spectacular nature and quiet surroundings. The area offers a wide range of activities throughout the year, whether you prefer exciting experiences or relaxing days in nature. Activities throughout the year: ✹ Hiking and biking – A varied network of marked hiking trails and farm roads provide great opportunities for both short and long trips on foot or by bike. ✹ Cross-country skiing – Right by the cabin you will find well-groomed ski slopes that take you far into the mountains, with the possibility of trips all the way to Beitostølen. ✹ Alpine – Valdres Alpine Center is close by, with the possibility of ski-in. Here you will find varied slopes that suit both beginners and experienced skiers. ✹ Fishing – Several mountain lakes nearby provide good opportunities for fishing, whether you prefer a quiet summer evening at the water's edge or exciting autumn fishing. ✹ Golf – One of the country's most beautiful golf courses is only 8 km away, idyllically located by the lake and known for its scenic location. In the winter you can enjoy a good lunch with something good in the glass at Koja Panorama, located at the top station 1060 meters above sea level. Here you get an amazing view of the mountains and it is a perfect place for a break between the ski tours. Experience spectacular nature! The cabin stay also provides a perfect base for exploring Valdresflye, a scenic high mountain road just 1 hour away. Here you get panoramic views of the mountains, and the road goes through magnificent landscape at over 1,300 meters altitude. The area offers fantastic hiking opportunities, both short walks and longer mountain hikes. Right by Valdresflye is Jotunheimen National Park, Norway's high mountain paradise. This area is known for majestic mountain peaks, clear lakes and beautiful nature. Here you will find some of Norway's most famous mountains, such as Besseggen, Galdhøpiggen (Northern Europe's highest mountain) and Glittertind. Jotunheimen is ideal for mountain trips, cycling, cross-country skiing in winter and nature experiences all year round. Perfect for those who want to experience Norwegian nature at its best! For daily necessities, the closest grocery store, Kiwi is about a 15 minute drive down into the valley. If you want a wider selection of shops, you will find several options at Leira, while Fagernes is the closest shopping center with, among other things, a shopping center, wine monopoly, cafes and restaurants. No matter the season, great nature experiences and activities await for both young and old!
