The space Coastal Calm is perfectly positioned, only a 3-minute walk to Carrickalinga Sands beach. Carrickalinga Sands is a quiet, exclusive and secluded hamlet nestled between Normanville and Carrickalinga. Once you hit the beach, it is an easy stroll to the famous Normanville jetty and foreshore with new surf club. This coastal holiday home is well-appointed, with three bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and 2 living areas. The main bedroom has an ensuite, and the second bathroom has a bath with a separate toilet. Relax with a book, soaking up the afternoon sun in the second living space (which also includes a sofa bed for additional guests). A designer kitchen makes it perfect for entertaining, with everything you will need to eat in or enjoy a cheese platter on the deck. There are also many local restaurants to try if cooking isn't on your holiday agenda! As one of the few homes that provide all quality linen during your stay (except BYO beach towels), there is no need to bring sheets, towels, bedding or tea towels! This added value means you can pack light and relax from the moment you arrive. All the bedrooms are also designed to make it easy to unwind and replenish those batteries after a day of exploring. For winter stays, the king-and queen-size beds are both fitted with an electric blanket for cooler nights, and there are additional comfy blankets for those with cold toes or snuggling on any of the couches for a movie night or a book. For summer stays, enjoy the ease of taking your beach gear with you using our wagon, and beach cricket is on us with equipment, alongside toys for the younger kids, for a day of sandcastles and swimming! The home is designed to be enjoyed all year-round. There is ducted evaporative cooling in the living areas and bedrooms, and in winter, there is a split system in the open-plan kitchen/dining and lounge. A getaway is the ideal chance to unwind with a great read, and our cosy reading nook, along with a carefully curated Free Little Library, has you covered! Whether you’ve left your favourite novel behind or are in the mood to explore something different, you're welcome to browse, borrow, or exchange. If you don’t finish a book before you leave, simply pass it on to another book lover with our compliments! We’ve also stocked plenty of games, puzzles, cards, and children's books to keep younger guests entertained. The deck is the perfect place to enjoy an afternoon drink, prepare the BBQ, or why not head down to the beach and enjoy the magical sunset! Guest access You will have full access to the entire property. Please note, an additional $50 fee is charged to cover more than 6 guests and use of the sofa bed. Additional linen will be provided- no need to bring your own! Other things to note Premium linen is provided for your stay—sheets, towels, and bedding are all taken care of at no extra cost! We’ve taken care of the small details so you can simply relax and make the most of your getaway. We kindly ask that you do bring your own beach towels—or treat yourself to some luxurious ones available for purchase at the Normanville Surf Club, perfect as a practical and memorable holiday keepsake! Want to bring your fur baby? Our yard is secure and pets are welcome by negotiation (a bond and pet fee is applied at booking). Please advise if the sofa bed is required - linen is provided on request only, and an additional fee ($50) is charged to the booking.
