Your family will be close to all amenities at this centrally-located, fully renovated retreat just minutes from Downtown Wheaton. Near restaurants, public transport, shopping, and entertainment—perfect for Wheaton College visits or a relaxing suburban escape. Enjoy the beautiful backyard and deck for outdoor lounging & dining. A true gem in Wheaton! The space The Hazelton House is all yours for a relaxing retreat! PRIMARY BEDROOM: Impeccably designed for your relaxing retreat. It has a comfortable king size bed and a closet for storage. There is also a full length mirror for your use. BEDROOM 2: This very bright and relaxing room has a comfy queen size bed. There is a slider out to the patio that allows a lot of nice day light in. There is also a 40” TV for you to kick back and stream your favorite show or movie on. A closet for storage will allow you enough space that you’ll want to stay for a long long time. BEDROOM 3: The smallest of the three bedrooms but a packs a pop of color and fun. Designed for the kiddos but room for two adults. The bunk is low to the ground but the twin mattresses are big enough for adults to get some rest if needed. There is a closet for storage and some shelves with books for some before bedtime reading. If you have kids they will LOVE this room! LIVING ROOM: is spacious with seating for at least six! The couch is just waiting for you to sit and enjoy the 55” SmarTV for the viewing of your favorite movie or binge worthy show! Flanked by two sitting chairs for a nice book or conversation. Plenty of light spills in with 3 large windows, but privacy can be had when you pull closed the luxurious drapery. DINING: for at least four is provided just off the living space for a nice open feel. You’ll feel like you’re living in a magazine as you sit and enjoy your meal. KITCHEN: is quaint but has seating for 3 - 4 and extra counter space with the eat-in design. With the NEW RENOVATION the kitchen packs a punch and is unexpected for a home of this stature. You may not be cooking a feast but it’s plenty capable of allowing you the comforts of home with a splash of high end design! BATH 1 & 2: Both baths have been newly renovated and are welcoming with LOTS of LIGHT. The primary is blessed with a wonderful skylight that gives you that needed sunshine in the morning. The half bath gives you that extra space for privacy and getting ready when you’re traveling with friends or family. LAUNDRY: we won’t over sell it. It’s a stackable and it’s in the kitchen. Hopefully you’re on vacation and you don’t have to think about it, but if doing laundry on your trip is needed, we’ve got you covered! BACKYARD: it’s fenced and ready for your kids and fur babies! The patio is great for just hanging out and extending the quality time to the out doors. WALKABLE: it’s a SHORT walk (6min, .3mi) to Starbucks, Target, Chipotle, Jersey Mike’s, Kohl’s and Vasa fitness. The walk is a manicured path through the forest preserve right across the street. No need to worry about traffic or safety!!! Down town Wheaton is a bit more of a walk but doable. Very quick drive to a plethora of restaurants and shops as well as the WEST METRA STATION to take you to down town Chicago! Guest access The ENTIRE home and backyard are yours! We do not allow access to the attached garage but can make it available for an added fee if needed. You should have all you need at the Hazelton House! Other things to note WALKABLE! WALKABLE!! WALKABLE!!! It’s a SHORT walk (6min, .3mi) ((that’s point three miles)) to Starbucks, Target, Chipotle, Jersey Mike’s, Kohl’s and Vasa fitness. The walk is a manicured path through the forest preserve right across the street. No need to worry about traffic or safety!!! Down town Wheaton and Wheaton College is a bit more of a walk but doable.
