Sinclair Suites is a charming small boutique hotel nestled in the heart of historic downtown West Dundee. Originally constructed in 1909, this historic gem underwent a complete renovation in 2024, thanks to the vision of husband-and-wife team Suzanne & Andy Burns. The second floor of the property was transformed into four private one-bedroom suites, that offer a stylish retro-luxe vibe, with spacious 13-foot ceilings, clean lines, a rich masculine color palette, and minimalist furnishings. Suzanne and Andy's creative touch has turned it into luxury lodging, where history and modernity coexist seamlessly. The space welcomes you with chevron oak floors, minimalist chic décor, and a laid-back atmosphere that invites relaxation. Each room showcases vintage paneling with striking feature walls, comfortable beds, 64 inch flat-screen TVs and a petite wet bar complete with an under-counter beverage refrigerator. Pamper yourself in our suites' private bathrooms, appointed with brass fixtures, chevron-patterned tile surrounds, and boutique toiletries. Guest access At Sinclair Suites, we value your comfort and convenience. We offer free parking directly behind the building in the municipal parking lot for your peace of mind. For seamless access, we provide keyless self-check-in. Please note that due to the historic nature of the property, there is no elevator, and access involves a flight of stairs from grade level to the second floor – 32 steps in total. Sinclair Suites is perfect for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers. Other things to note To ensure a harmonious stay for all guests, we kindly request that you adhere to our house rules: • No smoking, $250 additional cleaning fee will be charged if you violate this rule • Pets are not allowed • No parties or events • Rooms are designed for double occupancy; additional guests not permitted • Not suitable for children (0-12 years) • Check-in is anytime after 3 PM, and check-out is by 11 AM • Guests must be 21 years or older to reserve • Please be considerate of fellow guests and observe quiet hours after 10pm • We've put much care into creating this space, so kindly treat it with respect and care; refrain from damaging or moving furnishings • Enjoy a 64" Samsung Smart TV in your suite; feel free to customize your entertainment with your own streaming services • Makeup remover towelettes are provided; please use them instead of white washcloths for makeup removal • On-site parking is not available, but free overnight parking is conveniently situated just outside the front door in the municipal parking lot • The property is located on the second floor and has a total of 34 steps. Due to the historic nature of the property, there is NO elevator. But we promise the climb will be worth it!
