Welcome to Kingfisher's Retreat, a luxury one bedroom safari tent based in North Norfolk. Overlooking its very own private lake, Kingfisher's retreat is the perfect idyllic getaway for two with all the essential luxuries for an adventurous weekend away. Features include; log burner, private hammock, outdoor kitchen & dining, private en-suite bathroom. Also new for 2025 season - private wood fired hot tub! Enjoy the sounds of nature when you stay in this unique place. The space Kingfisher's retreat is the perfect stay if you are looking to surround yourself by nature, whilst still having all your home comforts. Inside the tent itself you'll find a fully equipped kitchen, king size bed with luxury bed linen, log burner, dining table & sofa. Fully Equipped kitchen - includes tableware, glassware, cooking utensils, kettle, coffee machine and induction hob. The kitchen also has tea, coffee, sugar, salt & pepper, olive oil. Alfresco dining - outdoors we have a Ninja Smokehouse Oven & BBQ, as well as a Ninja Pizza Oven and a second induction hob for our guests to use. The outdoor kitchen is in a covered area, so cooking is no problem whatever the weather! Private Bathroom - complete with underfloor heating, wet-room style shower, sink & flushing toilet. We provide hand wash, hand lotion, body wash & towels. Outdoor Facilities - outdoors you'll find a covered seating area, cooking area, dining table & chairs, as well as a private hammock and a wood fired hot tub overlooking the lake. Guest access Guests can check in from 3pm. We will always be here to greet guests on arrival and show them to the retreat. We have a private visitors car park for guests to park in, and then there is a short 2 minute walk through the lakes to get to Kingfisher's Retreat. We provide guests with a small map which shows where they are able to walk to explore the site. There is local area information, restaurant recommendations & tourist attraction leaflets available in the retreat. We are also always happy to help if you need any advice on the local area. Other things to note Swimming in the lake is allowed, however it is entirely at guests own risk. Fishing – Whilst we no longer promote the venue as a fishery and have left our lakes to balance with nature, you are welcome to fish, but must advise that an NRA license is still required. Barbless hooks only and no night fishing please. The safari tent is for 2 adult guests only - please respect that we do not allow parties or any external visitors during your stay.
