The road is gravel and mostly maintained until the last turn where it does narrow, follow signs marked “9 Mile Farm”. Expect some potholes, rogue weeds and sticks, however you should not need 4 wheel drive to access. Parking is just up from site, walk a few feet to the steps/deck/ inside. Land is raw, ungroomed, wild and natural Try to arrive with some daylight as to familiarize yourself with the property layout. Flashlights or headlamps strongly encouraged. The entire 5 acre property, the soaking tubs trails, paths, road and portable toilet (serviced regularly by Goodman sanitation) is SHARED with other sites. Please clean up after yourself and leave the space as you found it. The entire property is use at you and any of your guests own risk, one of our only requests as landlord is we do ask that you sign a waiver/release acknowledging you have read and understand the ENTIRE description/listing, as well as the risks and agree to hold harmless Other things to note MANAGING EXPECTATIONS: Bertha Cabover Camping may not be for everyone if you are uneasy without your wifi, lights, running water or really any modern-day conveniences or on the contrary if bugs make you fidget or the quiet makes you nervous & you can't roll with occasionally unforecast rain, wind, fog or even foghorns! then this may not be your cup of tea (and that's ok). We try to keep it tidy but realistically that just isn't always possible.
