Nestled in a tranquil location near Ubud center, this private haven boasts a beautiful wooden interior that exudes warmth and character. As you arrive, you'll find parking available for scooters only, providing a convenient way to explore the local area. The house is situated a few steps up, ensuring a private and elevated space for relaxation. Inside the grounds we have a half-open kitchen with basic utensils, perfect for cooking your favorite meals while staying connected with the living area. A panoramic window floods the space with natural light, offering stunning views of the surrounding landscape. Please be informed this is a house in the tropic near the jungle. That means different insects, especially ants, may easily and fast appear. We provide regular and thorough cleaning but you need to understand that ants can appear within a few minutes. In such cases, please use repellent or contact us for extra cleaning. In every Balinese house or villa from time to time, you can notice lizards. They usually appear on the walls and ceilings and can spend hours there, expect different small insects. In most cases, they have a size of up to 10 centimeters but sometimes they can be bigger. They are not dangerous and are a part of the Balinese cultural identity. Because of that, you can often see the lizard symbols on the gates and walls of Balinese houses. According to some traditions, the lizards in the house are a symbol of family happiness and harmony. Please note, we can do nothing about lizards and they live outside or in small cracks and can always penetrate the house. The deletion of one of them doesn't lead to their absence. After an absence for a day or even a few hours, that's quite likely that you will find traces of the presence of the lizards (dust, small lumps of earth, waste products) on the surface of the floors, chairs, beds, and tables.
