Welcome to Risco de Hugo. Cozy farmhouse style studios with kitchens, balconies and panoramic mountain views. The space Risco de Hugo is a small complex of 4 identical studios surrounded by coffee farms on a mountainside in Boquete, Panamá. We are 1600 meters above sea level and just a 12 minute drive up Volcán Barú from downtown Boquete. Utilizing some North American design elements and landscaped with a variety of native pines, Risco de Hugo offers a unique and contrasting environment to other accommodations in Panama. Each studio is open concept and has a clean, farmhouse style, minimalist design. There is: -a queen bed on the ground level -a double bed in a loft accesible by ladder -and a large sofa in a living room area with a TV and coffee table. Each studio also has a kitchen with cookware and dishware, a private bathroom with a shower, and a balcony with patio furniture and panoramic mountain views. Just down the street is Don Pepe Estate coffee farm and cafe where you can take a tour of a coffee plantation, or taste the world class Boquete coffee growing right next to you. Risco de Hugo is close enough to town to take a short drive down the mountain and dine at a restaurant or explore Boquete's attractions, but far enough to feel immersed in nature, disconnect and experience the essence of Boquete. Guest access Guests can access any part of the property except for behind the building. This includes the large terrace lawn adjacent to the building. Other things to note Many of the attractions in Boquete are not in town and are spread out over various mountains. For this reason, we recommend renting a car in order to properly see Boquete at your own pace. Uber is not yet well established in Boquete. Taxis are available to hail in town but need to be contacted directly from locations not in town. There are rental car companies at the David airport. Boquete is about a 50 minute drive from the Airport. There is also one car rental place directly in Boquete called Automarket.
