Let yourself be tickled up by the first rays of sunshine that protrude over the gons, and enjoy a NESPRESSO with a view of the Churfirsten. The farmhouse is an ideal retreat at any time of the year and at the same time a perfect starting point for excursions on the Flumserberg, on the Schönhalde, Palfries, on the Pizol or on the Walensee or for cozy relaxation in and around the house. Ideal for individuals, couples, friends and families with older children. Please note that there is only 1 bathroom & toilet on the lower floor in the house and that there is no air conditioning. In the house (including the covered entrance area), around the house and the barn as well as on the entire property, there is an absolute SMOKING BAN. Smokers: please indicate this when booking. BEDROOM & BATHROOM On the upper floor is the bright and spacious master bedroom with a king-size bed (180x200 cm) and a small workspace. The king-size bed can be separated into 2 beds if desired. Please let us know when booking. Next to it is the bedroom with a single bed (90x200 cm), lots of light and a table. On the lower floor, another bright bedroom with a queen size bed (160x 200 cm) offers a cozy sleeping option. All beds equipped with sheets made of cotton. The bathroom with bath and washing machine as well as the separate toilet is also on the ground floor. KITCHEN & DINING AREA You will find a fully equipped kitchen with glass ceramic stove, dishwasher, fridge and freezer and pans and pots, casserole and cake pan, raclette pot with grill stone and everything else you need to cook fine. For breakfast there is a NESPRESSO coffee machine, an electric kettle and a toaster. The extendable dining table with chairs can accommodate up to 6 people. LIVING ROOMS The living room with a view of the Alviertketten, the Gonzen and up to the Sargans Castle invites you to a cozy get-together. The favorite place is the "Chuschtbank", which also gives warmth after a day on the slopes. (A box of wood and instructions are provided. Guests can only heat the "Chuschtbank". Not the big oven.) GARDEN In the garden area you can (usually) relax under a bright sky. There are 2 sun loungers, garden chairs, tables and a fire bowl available. In the distance in the valley there is a highway as well as a railway line. This is audible. FAMILIES WITH KIDS In the house as well as around the house, there are stairs and a stone wall. That's why the accommodation is not suitable for families with babies of crawling and running age and younger children. Stair guards cannot be provided. ARRIVAL & PUBLIC TRANSPORT We recommend arriving by car. During the week there are only 6 post car connections/day from Flums train station to the house, on weekends & holidays, the Flumserberg-Kleinberg is not served by public transport. The walk from the Flums train station to the house takes about 45 minutes and is partly steep. Guest access The entire place is at your disposal – feel at home. 24 hours before your arrival, you will receive your personal code for the key box for the house. You can park right in front of the house. Entering the heating cellar, the attic, the garage and the barn is not permitted. Other things to note 🐑 Wildlife, livestock & insects (mountain/agricultural area) Please note that our accommodation is located in a mountain and agricultural area that is a natural habitat for various animals and insects. Occasionally sightings of animals/insects can therefore occur. These include deer, foxes, mice, spiders, lizards, wasps, ants, and other native species. We carry out regular pest control and inspections, but cannot guarantee a completely insect-free stay. Due to the altitude and the dry climate, some dust cannot always be avoided – especially in the summer months – although we attach the highest importance to cleanliness. Depending on the season, sheep may be around the house and other grazing animals above or below the street. Please drive carefully as deer or grazing can be located on or near the street. In the summer and autumn months, it may be that during your stay the grass around the house or on the adjacent meadows may be mowed or fertilized. ☃️For the winter months, we strongly recommend arriving with a car with all-wheel drive and carrying snow chains. In case of snow, it is recommended to park in front of the garage. The private driveway from the house to the street/garage is cleared in very heavy snowfall. The removal of snow and ice from guests' private vehicles is the responsibility of the guests and will not be taken over by us. If you feel uncomfortable with this natural setting or the circumstances described, this place may not be the right choice for you. Refunds cannot be issued for the conditions described. Like most houses in Switzerland, the house does not have air conditioning. 🚌The post bus stop is only 2 minutes away from the house, but on weekends the Flumserberg-Kleinberg is not served by public transport. The house and the surroundings around the house have unsecured stairs and a stone wall and are therefore not suitable for small children. The access road to the house as well as the barn is under 24-hour video surveillance.
