Rumor has it that this cabin was originally built as the film’s crew-quarters for the filming of Northwest Passage (1940) staring Tracy Spencer. The Kottage is primarily heated with an auto-start pellet stove. (The fireplace is just for show and is blocked off and does not work.) The space Welcome to your perfect rustic retreat! Our Kozy Kottage, is set up like a studio, promises tranquility and seclusion. The space features a curtained bedroom area, adding a touch of privacy to the open layout. You'll stay warm and toasty with the automatic start pellet stove and additional heaters. Ideal for those seeking peace and a break from the hustle and bustle, our rustic Kottage is your go-to getaway spot. Guest access Our Kottage is approximately 600 square feet and is laid out like a studio. For your privacy we have installed a curtained wall for the bedroom. It is approximately 80 years old and is still very rustic. We are still in the process of adding updates and welcome any suggestions. 4x4 highly suggested during winter months. Other things to note Pellet bags are 40 lbs. Guest must be able to lift bags to refill pellet stove daily. Driveway is a shared driveway so please check before booking with additional trailers, campers or extra large vehicles.
