Nestled between the NCR Rail Trail and two flowing creeks, this location offers both adventure and relaxation at its finest. This idyllic cabin features professionally designed spaces that are sure to please! The space The Creek House is an entertainer's paradise, featuring an oversized island and top-of-the-line GE Café appliances, including a dual-fuel 36" range. Whether you're dining in the stylish kitchen or enjoying a meal alfresco on the expansive back deck, you'll be treated to stunning views of two picturesque creeks. The deck space boasts a relaxing six person hot tub, outdoor dining table, new Weber gas grill, and sectional sofa with umbrella. It’s the perfect spot to unwind while listening to the soothing sounds of nature. Stepping off the deck and through the French doors you will be greeted with a cozy living room, complete with a hidden pop-up Smart TV for your entertainment. Here you will also find one of two Sonos speakers, the other being located in the kitchen. Put on your favorite tunes and set the mood throughout the entire first floor. Both speakers are battery powered and portable, so feel free to move them with you to keep the music going either outside by the fire pit, or on the deck while enjoying dinner. On the second floor, the Main Bedroom offers a king bed, dresser, and tranquil creek views. Open a window and drift off to sleep to nature's own sound machine. The Guest Bedroom features two double beds and a small bench perfect for extra storage or even a place to set luggage. Rounding out the upstairs, you will find the single bathroom. Designed with comfort in mind, it offers a retro double sink, spacious shower, and a separate soaking tub. Outside, large stone steps lead you down to a private yard with direct access to the creek. Dip your toes in the cool water and watch as tiny minnows swim past. Guests also love interacting with our resident flock of laying hens at the chicken coop. Tucked beneath the deck, you’ll find a cozy porch swing bed—an inviting spot to curl up with a good book, enjoy your morning coffee, or simply sway gently while listening to the sounds of the creek. As nightfall approaches, the natural stone fire pit becomes the perfect gathering place to relax and enjoy a drink or two. A fully stocked woodshed with complimentary firewood and fire starters ensures the fire keeps burning into the night—just bring the marshmallows! For those who wish to explore the area, we offer two complimentary electric bikes for guests looking to enjoy a scenic ride along the rail trail — pedal as much or as little as you like! The rail trail runs right in front of the property(about 20 miles in each direction). There are several Brewery’s to explore within a 10 minute bike, with the closest being, AleCraft Brewery, about 0.3 miles south on the trail. Whether you're relaxing by the creek or adventuring outdoors, The Creek House offers an unforgettable experience. This property has multiple repeat guests with some of them staying at The Creek House now over 5 times! Guest access We hope you’ll enjoy every corner of our property, from the lush grassy yard and charming chicken coop to the tranquil creeks in both the back and side yards. The Rail Trail runs along the front yard, offering miles of biking, hiking, and walking opportunities. The washer and dryer are located in the basement, which is accessed by a short walk outside around the house to the lower level. Other things to note Although the home is near the railroad tracks, the train does not run every day, and guests typically find its occasional passing to be a charming part of the experience, rather than a disturbance. You can check the train schedule on the Northern Central Railway website. For easy access to the home, please refer to the overhead image; you'll need to cross the trail and railroad tracks, as our property doesn’t have a traditional driveway.
