The space Located 2 miles East of Webster, the property is along the Yellow River, in the heart of Burnett County. The secluded and fenced in private property provides acres of tranquility and is a peaceful retreat. The one bedroom cottage is well maintained and exceptionally clean. It includes a fireplace, sunroom, full kitchen, one shower/bathroom, and laundry. The sofa in the living room opens to a full size mattress for another sleeping spot. Relax inside watching the wandering wildlife or get out and explore the land. There are trails, benches, boardwalks leading to the river house and two docks, camping site, and fire pits. In the summer you can enjoy fishing, swimming, canoeing, and hiking the trails. During the winter you can enjoy sledding, cross country skiing, or snowshoeing on the land, or jump on one of the many neighboring snowmobile trails. Please be aware that the grounds are in the early stages of restoration to native flowers and grasses to help pollinators have more to eat for their lives. That means right now, there is lots of long grass. I keep pathways mowed so that we people can stroll through the soon to be prairies. Other things to note You will have access to the Yellow River while here. There is a small craft boat landing maintained by the county just east of the property. Many people enjoy floating downstream to the Yellow River Inn. I would be happy to ferry you back. My car has a Yakima rack to hauls boats. There are also some landings upriver that make for nice excursions. Let me know if you are interested in that because I can provide time estimates, etc. It's a beautiful river with much area open for wildlife viewing. Another fun thing is to pick up the Gandy Dancer bike trail which runs north/south just on the west side of the village. It is a lovely 2.5 mile ride from the land. You should know that the bike trail is maintained by the State so a permit is required. The Ace Hardware store sells them. I bicycle frequently back and forth to town and have always felt comfortable and safe. Drivers, give a wide berth as they pass.
