Relax with family and friends or have a peaceful getaway for one at the gateway to the magnificent Grampians (Gariwerd). Set on 10 acres of Bushland with stunning views of the mountains. With easy access to all that the region has to offer, this is the ideal base for those wanting to enjoy Halls Gap, Stawell, Ararat and surrounds. Or never leave the property and enjoy the peace of nature, with bird life, kangaroos and breathtaking sunrises and sunsets framed by the mountain views. The space 3 Bedrooms, sleeps 7: *Master bedroom has a queen bed, ensuite and TV, with separate access to deck. *Second bedroom has a double bed * Third bedroom has a single bed and a set of bunks * Additional bedding may be available by request at additional cost. Living room has TV (local stations only, not smart tv) with Chromecast to connect your device for streaming, and surround sound system. Split system air conditioning to keep you comfortable all year round. Large deck with BBQ and dining. Fire pit and outdoor furniture. Set on 10 acres of semi cleared bush. You are welcome to bring horses and enjoy the local trails, however the fencing here is not horse safe, so you'd need to bring your own temp yards. Retractable veranda on deck for those warmer days. Small dam, depending on rain, may be available for yabbying. Guest access Guests are welcome to use the whole house, including the BBQ. As I use this house myself when not hosting guests, you will notice a few cupboards are locked, as they contain my personal use items. Shed is not for use. You are welcome to use of condiments in the cupboards. A starter pack of tea, coffee, sugar, UHT milk, shampoo and conditioner, body wash and toilet paper will be provided on arrival. These are to save you a trip to the shops when you arrive, but will not be replenished during your stay. Pet bowls, beds, blankets and towels provided. We run on tank water.. please be mindful in your use of this precious resource 🙏 Other things to note Tank water is used for drinking, washing, laundry and bathroom. Please be waterwise, we don't get much rain these days 🙏 Please note, this is a bush property, with all the features that come along with bush life; including the odd bug or spider finding it's way into the house. Whilst the property is regularly treated to prevent entry of such critters, we cannot guarantee they will never find their way in. Insect spray and repellent is provided for your use if you wish to use it. The presence of insects is not grounds for refund or discount so please consider this when booking. The house is not a pristine hotel room; it is a safe, cosy and clean home, set amongst all that nature has to offer. Wifi and electricity supply is usually fine but as in all country areas sometimes we have outages..rare but not never. Mobile coverage is best with Telstra and Optus, patchy with Vodafone.
