You are a 10 minute walk to the lake and a 25 minute drive to Yosemite’s South Entrance. The space Built in 1945 and recently upgraded, this retro cabin is the perfect getaway for couples, families and friends looking to relax and enjoy the mountains, Bass Lake, and Yosemite. The interior is brimming with quirky retro design, a fully stocked kitchen, games, comfy beds, blankets, books and vinyls. The living room has a charming vintage electric fireplace (for ambiance, no heat) and a Nintendo 64 for retro gaming. On the deck you'll find a hot tub, grill, propane fire pit and picnic table, all overlooking the gorgeous Sierra Mountains. This cabin is the perfect escape for the adventurer, romantic, friends or family group looking for a peaceful space to unwind and rejuvenate the soul. Check out sister cabins The Coookiebutter, Snickerdoodle, Jolly Rancher and Lolly Lodge for additional spaces to rent for larger groups and events. (2) There is only one parking spot at this cabin. Cars that sit lower to the ground than normal may have difficulty with the hilly driveway. (3) The deck has a propane fire pit and grill that can be used year round. (4) We are pet friendly, however, pets are not allowed on cabin beds, duvets, furniture and blankets. Please bring a pet blanket or bed to help cut down on hair. Dogs may not be left alone at the cabin unsupervised. (5) Early check-in and late checkouts are unavailable. This includes luggage and grocery drop-offs. (6) We adhere to AirBnb’s strict cancelation policy and suggest all guests obtain travel insurance to protect themselves in the rare instance your travel plans change. (7) Please keep in mind that this is an older cabin that has been refurbished with modern appliances. The stairs to the loft are much steeper than traditional homes and are not suitable for the elderly or those with difficulty walking or climbing. (8) The N64 has 4 controllers and the following games: * Super Mario 64 * Banjo Kazooie * Diddy Kong Racing * Mario Kart 64 * Majora’s Mask * Golden Eye * Perfect Dark * Pokémon Snap * Lego Racers * Cruisin USA * Rugrats in Paris We take great care of the N64 and games but keep in mind this is an old system and issues could arise unexpectedly. Other things to note YOSEMITE has initiated a reservation system for certain times of the year, particularly high season and holidays.
